French First Lady, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy was seen last week with her husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy at a local television studio where she looked to be sportin' some kind of belly bump…. A baby bump, perhaps??

Congrats are in order for Carla Bruni-Sarkozy. The French First Lady has given birth to a daughter!

This is her first child with French President Nicolas Sarkozy, pictured below arriving at the clinique.

The 43-year-old Carla gave birth this Wednesday at the Clinque de la Muette, though no statement has yet been released as to the newborn’s name.

The baby is the second for Carla, she has one son from a previous marriage, and the fourth for President Sarkozy who has thee kids from two previous marriages.

That’s one large royal family.

Congrats again to the happy couple!

Ah, the French. They sure do love their booze and tobacco sticks.

Which is why it's killing French First Lady Carla Bruni that she can't touch either of those things until she gives birth.

Nicolas Sarkozy's wife recently spoke about how she feels about pregnancy:

"Frankly, I cannot stand it. I have to stay sitting or lying most of the time, cannot smoke or drink wine. I cannot wait for it to end."

Her due date is Oct. 1 so she only has about a week or so until that damn bebeh comes out of her!

Let's just hope she doesn't smoke around the little one.

The French First Lady is already 8 months pregnant!

Paying a visit to the gardens of the Elysee Palace in Paris during France's Day of Patrimony, the wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy caught the attention of a young girl who couldn't take her eyes off of Carla Bruni's burgeoning belly bump!

She certainly makes maternity wear look fashionable!

Due in October, this will be the first child born to a serving president during the entire history of the Fifth Republic. Carla, who also has an 11-year-old son Aurelian, has promised to keep her children away from the spotlight. She recently said:

"You don't have a child to play to the gallery and my position as the wife of the head of state has made me even more defensive. I understand the media interest and I don’t see any inconvenience in it for me or my husband, but when it concerns the children it is impossible."

We don't blame you one bit! Protect your cubs, Momma Bear!
