We can't believe he's gone.
It came as a shock when we learned that David Bowie had passed away after battling cancer for almost two years.
While several celebrities such as Kanye West, Cher, and Ricky Gervais took to Twitter to remember the rock star, sometimes a stranger affects your life so much, a tweet or two just isn't enough.
Video: David Bowie Best Moments In Music & Movies!
While Madonna did tweet when she learned the news, and was obviously very affected by David's passing, the Material Girl apparently felt she needed to get more off her chest as she posted a tribute on Facebook:

Someone call a doctor because we are having a serious case of nostalgia IN OUR EAR HOLES!
The fine musicians of the Carnegie Hall Ensemble ACJW are seriously in
toon tune with our secret desire to watch animated shows all day, because they played a medley of no less than 43 cartoon theme songs in just 5 minutes!
These performers make us tear up with The Magic School Bus and Babar, rock out with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and make us giddier than having one too many pixie stix with The Animaniacs!
But why let us spoil all the fun of watching this instrumental video, you should rediscover these songs for yourself! Can you guess all 43?!
Ch-ch-check out the animato virtuosic performance…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Sarah Jessica Parker had a peculiar way of covering up last night at the Carnegie Hall Medal Of Excellence Gala.
The 47 year old stepped out in a pretty vintage Oscar de la Renta gown, but it was her white cardigan that really threw us for a loop.
It looks like SJP was rushing out the door and the only thing she could find was that.
OK, fine. The cardi isn't terrible, but a wrap or something a little more dressy would have worked much better.
What do U think???
