The subject of Serial has just received a decision that may be a total game changer!

Adnan Syed was convicted in 2000 for the murder of his ex-girlfriend and has been serving a life sentence at Western Maryland state prison ever since.

But when the podcast Serial reopened the case on their own terms and became super popular - a lot of attention was brought back on the cold case.

And now the Maryland Court of Special Appeals totes approved his application for leave to appeal this past Friday on the basis that his former lawyer Christina Gutierrez was ineffective.

Not only did she reportedly contract a rare and incurable virus on her trip to Bora Bora in December, she now only has a few days to complete the rest of her community service hours sentenced to her during a 2012 reckless driving case!

Dustin Diamond Pleads Not Guilty After Being Accused Of Stabbing Someone In Bar Fight

Dustin Diamond has screeched out a not guilty plea in Ozaukee County Circuit Court on Thursday morning.

The Saved by the Bell actor is accused of stabbing a man at The Grand Avenue Saloon on Christmas day after an altercation occurred that involved his fiancée, Amanda Schutz.

The man who was allegedly stabbed did say that he had pushed Dustin forcefully, and that he didn't realize he'd been injured until later.

Dustin plead not guilty to second-degree reckless endangering safety, a felony, and two misdemeanors. In addition, Amanda also entered a not guilty plea to misdemeanor disorderly conduct.

Chris Brown's Probation Gets Revoked In Rihanna Case Partly For Being At Two Separate Nightclub Shootings

Looks like Breezy is in a whole lot of legal trouble again!

Chris Brown's probation was revoked in the Rihanna case, partly because he attended 2 different nightclub events where people were shot.

Apparently, officials are nervous about further incidents of violence, and believe that Chris should spend some time in the slammer.

The judge present at his probation report on Thursday had some issues with Chris' behavior.

First, Chris was at a nightclub in San Jose when five people were shot. Secondly, Chris was previously at 1OAK in August where Suge Knight was shot among others.

In addition, according to the judge, Chris violated his parole by leaving the counting for San Jose without permission for the court.

Although there's no evidence that Chris was involved, the probation officer spoke about how they're worried over future events he might attend:

Judge Determines Two Girls Charged In Slender Man Stabbing Case Are Competent To Stand Trial

The two girls who stabbed their classmate 19 times and claimed it as a tribute to an internet fictional character Slender Man have been found competent to stand trial by a judge in a Wisconsin courthouse.

The decision happened on Thursday after two hearings for the two girls, and the decision was made by Waukesha County Circuit Judge Michael Bohren.

One of the girls, who had shackles on, told the judge that she did not believe she was competent to stand trial.
