There’s no drama like fashion drama!

Nicolas Ghesquière will end his 15-year reign as the creative director of Balenciaga on Friday, but speculation on who will take over for the storied house is still high.

Now, Cathy Horyn of the New York Times claims that wunderkind Alexander Wang may be the one to fill in for the acclaimed Ghesquière, stating:

The truth is starting to come out! Or at least some very reasonable speculation.

On Monday, Nicolas Ghesquière and Balenciaga announced their "joint decision to end their working relationship", but declined to go into specifics.

Now, it seems that it may have been Hedi Slimane's fault! Indirectly, of course.

They say that karma’s a bitch, and Cathy Horyn is finding that out the hard way.

The New York Times fashion critic was recently the victim of Twitter rants by YSL’s creative director Hedi Slimane.

She was also the subject of a full-page ad in WWD taken out by Oscar de la Renta where he called her a “three day old hamburger.”

Now, the Times Style editor, Stuart Emmrich, has come to Horyn's defense in hopes of silencing the critic's own critics.

Emmrich wrote in a wordy article published on the NYT's blog:

After posting an open letter to fashion critic Cathy Horyn on Twitter, Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimane had a lot more to say.

Everyone loves a good catfight!

Following Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent debut, fashion critic Cathy Horyn decided she didn’t like it, even though she wasn’t there.

Horyn, who has never been Hedi’s biggest fan, wrote that the show was "a nice but frozen vision of a bohemian chick at the Chateau Marmont. Or in St. Tropez" and that it "lacked a new fashion spirit" before praising peers at Balenciaga, Dior, Givenchy, Celine and Lanvin.

Well, Hedi hit back in the most adult way ever: Twitter!

Hedi writes in his open tweet, titled My Own Times: Miss Cathy, Freedom of Press:

Which leads us to believe that Karl Lagerfeld's adorable kitten Choupette will be getting a Chanel bag named after her!

Not good…according to critics.

Yeezy's show was one of if not THE most buzzed about show during Paris Fashion Week and it attracted one helluva crowd. Some of those sitting in the front row included Azzedine Alaia, Jeremy Scott, Joseph Altuzarra, Alexander Wang, Dsquared2 designers Dean and Dan Caten, the Olsen Twins and Anna Wintour.

Also seated in the front row was Lindsay Lohan, which is pretty surprising since Kanye called her Ungaro collection the "9/11 of celebrities doing fashion".

So did the show live up to the hype?
