Katy Perry's kitty Monkey is 3 and is celebrating her new age with some heavy duty cat nip!

But don't take our word for it!

Here's what Katy tweeted about the momentous occasion:

"Today is my cat, monkey's 3rd birthday. That's 21 in cat years. Crunk on cat nip."

Don't let Monkey get too wild, or the kitty may end up passed out in the bathroom because of too much cat nip!

Cats tend to be pretty lazy.

But this cat takes the cake!

That is, if the cake were placed right up against his face and already partially inside his mouth.

Otherwise, it doesn't look like even a big fat bag of catnip could get this cat's rear in gear.

An Italian woman, Marisa Assunta, died at 94 last month.

Living to 94 is pretty amazing, but what's more amazing is that her will left her entire estate and fortune to her cat.

Her cat, Tommaso, who was a stray until she rescued him, is now the richest cat in the world!

Catnip for everyone!!

Except there's a catch.

Just like in America, in Italy, you can't leave your money to your pet.

Problem was, Ms. Assunta had no living relatives and apparently no friends.

So her estate attorneys decided that both the cat, and all the money, are going to the nurse who cared for the elderly woman.

The nurse said:

"I had no idea signora had such wealth."

Well you've got it now!

But you better make sure that cat has the most pampered life after you've stolen his $13,000,000! LOLz!
