So much for closure.
Earlier today, officials announced that the coroner who oversaw Amy Winehouse's cause of death inquest has resigned after "her qualifications were questioned."
As a result, the investigation MAY be reopened, if that's what Amy's family wants.
In a newly released statement, the family

"Oh, btw… we took your son's brain. Sorriez!"
Sounds totes unbelievable, but that's what Julie Middleton was told last week. (And you thought YOU needed the long weekend!)
When she first got the news she couldn't believe it herself. She says,
"I could tell from their faces they had something horrible to tell me. They said, 'Regan's brain has been found in Southampton Hospital in a jar.' I didn't take anything else in after that. I couldn't believe my ears and just went numb."
The british mother-of-four was told "tissues had been removed" to ascertain the cause of death - which was found to be cot death - but was never told they took his whole brain!
Middleton said "It feels like they stole a piece of my baby."
Cops told her six-week-old Regan's brain was "harvested" and now been found in a hospital storage jar.
"We won't be able to attend — it will be too painful for both of us. I thought I'd said goodbye to Regan all those years ago. I can't face going through it again. They offered me a free funeral and I thought, 'What are they going to do? Have the brain in a jar on the pulpit?'"
Our hearts go out to Regan's family.

How tragic.
The mysterious death of the brother of Disney star Cody Linley was ruled an accident, but there were no further details about what may have happened.
The autopsy results now reveal that Chad Linley died from "toxic effects of heroin."
The 29-year-old was found in his Houston, Texas apartment in August by his apartment manager.
A police spokesperson said:
