Casey anthony subpoena for civil trial

Casey Anthony has been forced back into court by an angry woman named Zenaida Gonzalez and the acquitted murderer isn't happy about it.

Back in 2008, Anthony claimed her 2-year-old daughter was kidnapped by a babysitter of the same name, which turned out to be false, so now Mz. Gonzalez is suing her for defamation.

Anthony has been in hiding for the last 10 months and was hoping to leave the country in September to start a new life. However, she's been subpoenaed to appear

Rob Lowe Prosecutes Casey Anthony For Lifetime!

Filed under: TV NewsFilm FlickersLegal MattersSad SadRob Lowe

The inevitable has happened!

The tragic story of the Caylee Anthony murder trial has found its home on Lifetime.

And who better than Sam Seaborn himself - Rob Lowe - to play unsuccessful prosecutor Jeff Ashton, the man who tried to prove Casey Anthony’s guilt.

No news as to who will play the guilty aquitted mother of Caylee, but the film will follow the trial from Ashton’s perspective - how he built the trial, and why the prosecutor was so convinced of Casey’s wrongdoing.

Such a tragic story… we hope you don’t cheese it up too much, Lifetime!

While she might be ready to start life anew, we don't think the world will forget last July's trial (and more importantly the verdict) as quickly.

A source said the following about Casey's rationale:

While Casey Anthony walks around free as a bird, the search party that was looking for Caylee AFTER Casey knew she had died wants some answers.

A Florida judge has ordered Anthony to answer two questions from Texas Equusearch.

The search party had more questions for Anthony but since she's appealing her "lying to authorities" charge, the two questions were deemed the only ones that wouldn't incriminate her.

The two questions are:

Casey Anthony Jailhouse Footage Released.

Filed under: Icky Icky PooLegal Matters

Yesterday, Judge Belvin Perry ordered that the 2008 previously unseen video footage of Casey Anthony's reaction to the news that her daughter Caylee's remains were discovered, as she sat in the jail infirmary, rocking back and forth, be released to the public.

Although it had been previously sealed throughout the trial because another judge had ruled it to be "inflammatory," Perry has ruled that:

"There is no reasonable expectation of privacy in jail."

We'll let you draw your own conclusions from it (above).
