Kate McKinnon SO deserves this!

At the 2016 Emmys, Kate won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Saturday Night Live. The win is a BIG deal considering the comedienne is the first SNL cast member to win a supporting actress Emmy EVER!

Video: Jimmy's Opening Monologue Is Hilarious!

We guess the actress has a thing for making history — she was the first openly lesbian member of SNL, after all!

Considering the magnificent weight of the win, McKinnon's speech was obviously very emotional. It's clear the funny gal was not expecting to walk away with the award!

One particularly poignant moment of the speech was when Kate paid homage to her mother and late father. The star noted how her beloved dad had her watching SNL at age twelve.

You can watch the aww-worthy speech (above)!

P.S. A shout out to the other nominees Niecy Nash, Allison Janney, Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, and Anna Chlumsky.

Another big win for Jeffrey Tambor!

The actor took home the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series for his role in Transparent.

And we're not one bit surprised as he's cleaned up at lots of award shows this year and last.

The actor had to somehow beat out other AH-Mazing actors: Ty Burrell in Modern Family, Louis CK in Louie, William H Macy in Shameless, and Jim Parsons in The Big Bang Theory.

And of course he delivered a funny AND simply touching speech after Jason Bateman adorably announced that his "dad" won — in case you forgot, Jeffrey played his dad on Arrested Development!
