Vanessa Hudgens hopes to one day be a successful celebrity designer just like Victoria Beckham and the Olsen Twins.

The Beastly star explains:

"Victoria Beckham is someone I take inspiration from. Also Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. They have such an amazing fearlessness of fashion and that's why their line is so incredible. I hope to be the same."

As for what her line will look like, Vanessa adds:

"It's something I'm thinking about doing - it'll be very 60s and 70s with lots of embroidery and beadwork. I'm figuring out if I want to do it with someone or on my own. There's no rush, so I want to make sure it has the perfect home."

What does Donatella Versace think of celebrity clothing lines?

For lack of a better word, they suck.

The blonde designer spoke her mind at the launch of Versace's home collection on Thursday, telling Reuters:

"I think it is more a question of marketing. Some of these collections are for cheaper, mass market fashion. I don't think that creativity is there."

Besides, she said: "Music stars wear Versace".

Amen, sista!

This would be all things amazing!

Rihanna is fueling speculation that she may be working on a clothing line for Topshop.

The redheaded songstress was spotted in her native Barbados this week dining with the UK retailer's Sir Philip Green.

It makes sense. As part of a contest, RiRi styled some of her London fans at Topshop's Oxford Circus location in October.

Guess we'll have to wait and find out.

Olivia Palermo is in the January issue of Vogue Espana looking gorgeous in a tiara and other fanciful clothes.

But more importantly, the former City star revealed in the accompanying interview what her new reality show's about.

Olivia told the mag cameras will follow her around as she creates her new clothing line!

Kinda sounds like Lauren Conrad's upcoming show, no?

Looks like this collab is for real!

Last week it was revealed that basketball star Amar'e Stoudemire would be working on a women's clothing line with designer Rachel Roy.

But before womenswear, the duo will take on menswear.

President of Designers Management Agency, the same peeps who are setting up Hilary Swank's fashion project, explained:

"Our goal is to build on his style and swagger in an authentic and believable way. The early product range shall consist of men's fragrance, made-to-measure tailored suits, and sportswear."

Oh boy, another celebrity fragrance! Just what the market needs.

DMA didn't give an exact release date, but according to the first report Stoudemire's threads will debut in the fall.

First a TV show and now this.

Designers Management Agency co-founder Marc Beckman announced on Thursday that Hilary Swank is coming out with her own clothing line.

Why not? Everyone else is/has.

Beckman says Hilary originally wanted to do a motivational and inspirational t-shirt collection, but it quickly developed into a "contemporary, outdoor, athleisure brand".

Now that the concept is nailed down, DMA and Swank are interviewing designers to do all the work make her vision come to life.
