We totally knew this would happen never saw this coming!
Hey, she's only been the face of Dior since 2008, so it's about time they gave her something a little more creative to do!
Marion Cotillard will soon see her singular take on the Lady Dior bag in stores and on the arms of sophisticated ladies-who-lunch the world over.
The actress has been given free rein by Dior to design her own version of the iconic bag, and we can't wait to see what she comes up with!
It might even come in houndstooth!
Check out the video (above) to see Marion sketch & talk about her design ideas for the brand!
Oh, la la!

Cheryl Cole is a designer!
The X Factor judge was asked to design a line of rings for De Grisogono after performing at their party in Cannes.
Obviously she said yes because what girl turns down free jewelry as payment!?
No word on when the ring range, which Cheryl named Promise after her new single Promise This, will make their debut, but we have a feeling she'll be giving lots of sneak peeks on X Factor.

Alber Elbaz thinks celebrities should stay far far away from "designing" fashion lines.
Karl Lagerfeld's maybe successor explains:
"I feel that some celebrities think that because they are famous, they can do fashion. Imagine if I want to be now a dancer. Trust me, I can't. I can't jump. I can't even limp from one point to another. I feel that there is this kind of confusion."
We second that!
Unfortunately, the damage has been done and there's no way of stopping them.
Do U agree with Alber???

Last year we told our Coco-licious readers that the adorbs Selena Gomez will be coming out with her own collection for KMart.
Now, after months of anticipation, we finally have a look at what will be hitting shelves just in time for tweens to go back to school.
Parents can expect to find black jersey blazers with unfinished hems, studded skinny belts, gray boyfriend cardigans ruched in the front, purple fringed ultrasuede purses and cream tanks attached to purple floral-printed polyester chiffon skirts and lots of accessories.
We think the greatest part of this celebrity range is how affordable they made it without sacrificing style because all pieces from Selena's Dream Out Loud collection will be selling for $24 and under!
Overall, we think the line is cute and fun. It'll definitely be a hit with the little fashionistas!
What do U think of Selena's new collection???

America's Next Top Model runway diva coach extraordinaire Miss J Alexander has a message for all the celebutards that want to try their hand at "designing".
Says Miss J:
I know some of these people. I've worked with them. My biggest problem is if you're going to hire a celebrity to design a line and if they don't know what they are doing, then they need to hire the right person to sketch and oversee the line. It's an insult to the fashion industry for people who have studied this craft, researched it, traveled the world looking for inspiration compared to someone who just pulls something out of their closet and changes the color.
Well said!!!
Maybe he and Tim Gunn should get together over some drinks. They seem to share the same opinion!
