We've been hearing for a while now that when One Direction takes the stage tomorrow at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Harry Styles wanted his new lady love Taylor Swift to be there by his side…and ALSO to meet his family!

Get ready for something coming up this season on Gossip Girl for which many of you have been waiting for a LONG time!

It's true.

The Foo Fighters are done performing and recording for "a while." But not forever!

Dave Grohl made the announcement during his band's set at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park, but has since confirmed with a heartfelt letter to fans on Facebook.

After thanking them "for another incredible year", the band's frontman went on to write that he's not sure when they will play another show together, but he knows they will. According to Grohl, "it's not just a band to me. It's my life. It's my family. It's my world."

Rock music is gonna miss these guys, but at least some other bands will have a shot at winning a Grammy now.

They were and then they weren't, but now they definitely are.

Dave Grohl has just confirmed that yes, the Foo Fighters are taking a well-deserved break.

He hinted at the hiatus this summer during England's Reading Festival, but confirmed the news in front of American fans at the Global Citizen Festival in Central Park last Saturday.

Before performing Learn To Fly during their last tour stop (above), Grohl grabbed the mic to say:

Check out this pic of Kristin Chenoweth (above) enjoying an amazingly fab afternoon in Central Park — the weather couldn't be more perfect.

Beyond that, you'll notice she doesn't have to wear her neck brace all the time anymore!

After her accident on the set of The Good Wife earlier this summer, she was required to wear one (you can see she still carries it).

We're so happy she's feeling better!

Nothing better then getting out when you need to recover!

…well it's about time!

Seeing as how none of our other Gossip Girl dreams are seeming to come true, we'll settle for a nice Dan & Serena joy ride.

Though it looked like she might be wedding that guy from 7th Heaven in the trailer, the pics (below) suggest otherwise!! And we are DELIGHTED!!

Look — he deserves to be with someone hot! And if it can't be Blair, then it might as well be his first love! And hey, at least he'll always have great sex! Ha!

We are utterly speechless after witnessing The Wanted's truly virtuoso performance on Good Morning America.

Not only did they rock Central Park, but they made sweet love to it at the same time.
