Vogue's November cover girl Rooney Mara made an appearance at the CFDA / Vogue Fashion Fund Awards this week.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo star donned a nude Calvin Klein dress, which she wore really well but her makeup killed the entire look.

If Rooney went a little lighter with the lip color or even had the same makeup as her cover it would have changed the whole thing for the better.

Christina Ricci gave the ol' black tights with short dress another try at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Monday night.

The Broadway actress went for a black and white Peter Som dress, which works a lot better than her last attempt.

Next time, wait a couple of weeks before repeating a look, OK?

Haven't we seen this before?

The Olsen twins were at Monday night's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards in New York City sporting their usual get up.

Both Mary-Kate and Ashley were dressed in head to toe black outfits with fur accents and matching handbags.

At least they're consistent.

The Rachel Zoe pregnancy rumors are heating up.

Last week her brother-in-law confirmed she was pregnant, but now another person reveals she's 4 1/2 months along and expecting a boy.

The well placed source says the stylist and her husband Rodger Berman "found out they were having a boy in the past week."

But before everyone goes out and buys blue baby gifts Rachel kinda sorta put the rumors to rest at Tuesday night's CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund event in El Lay.

Zoe opened up her Balmain jacket for People magazine to show off her flat stomach.

Later that evening RZ was the only person at her table not drinking champagne and even talked with her frenemy Nicole Richie about all things babies.

Inneresting, but what else would those talk about?

It's not like Nicole's her client and they don't exactly have the greatest history together. Maybe that's the only thing Rachel could bring up without making it awkward.

Like we've said before, we'll wait until she confirms it herself.

On Friday, the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund announced the names of the designers who are in the running for the fund's grand prize of as much as $200,000 and a mentorship from leaders in the fashion industry.

And the finalists are:

The fashion fund will also be awarding two runners up with $50,000 and mentoring as well.

On Thursday, the CFDA/Vogue fashion fund winners of 2009 debuted their limited edition collection for Gap at a pop-up shop in New York.

The rotating concept shop features collections by Monique Péan, Patrik Ervell and Sophie Théallet who were asked to design pieces to reflect their creative visions while still retaining Gap’s classic, yet casual aesthetic.

The limited edition pieces in New York's 5th Avenue shop range from $28 to $298 and are available while supplies last.
