Better watch out, Chad Johnson, the NFL is watching you — specifically your twitter — while deciding if they want to hire you back.

It's true, any NFL team that might want to take a chance on Chad (they probably shouldn't) will be watching his social media antics.

Slowly, he's been returning to Twitter.

Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson is finally speaking up about all the craziness that has happened in the past few days.

His podium of choice?

Twitter!

Here's what he said:

"I haven't had to tread water in a long time…special thank you to my fans…family…friends for keeping me afloat…"

We wonder how that's working out, seeing as he just lost an endorsement deal in addition to the two jobs and his wife.

Zico coconut water said this:

Chad Ochocinco, or Chad Johnson (however you recognize him), has been offered a hefty sum to get it on with his soon-to-be ex-wife, Evelyn Lozada!

Of course, that would be a tricky deal to negotiate at this point in time (mostly because he allegedly violently assaulted her and she wants a divorce), but the offer is very real — and it comes from PornHub.com!

According to a friend, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson has been physical with Evelyn Lozada their ENTIRE relationship!

Here's what the source said:

"Chad has been abusive towards Evelyn basically from the beginning of their relationship. Chad doesn't like Evelyn's party lifestyle and it made his anger worsen. He hated the way she acted on TV and would often lash out at her for any little thing."

Apparently what went down between them was NOT a surprise:

"Chad and Evelyn's marriage was volatile in nature and a mistake from the start. He [Chad] went off the scale at her once because he was tired of having Evelyn's friends, like her assistant and stuff, living in his house.

We are SO happy Evelyn is able to break away now, before something worse happened.

Oh Chad Ochocinco, when will you learn?

Lies got you in this position to begin with!

Apparently you didn't realize that, because you totally lied to your coach this week to try and save your job, and you got fired anyway.

The meeting was actually filmed as part of Hard Knocks, a weekly HBO documentary series following the Dolphins.

It's short and sweet, but Chad ended up saying this:

"Coach, I've never been in trouble before … ever."

Nope, we all know that's not true at all.

Still, we don't think that even if it was true that they'd keep him around — this is a huge mess, and who would want a domestically violent player (allegedly) on their team?

Think your actions through, Chad. Shame.
