As if you weren't already aware, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer's wins at last night's People's Choice Awards were pretty big indicators that the exciting new direction (see what we did just there? LOLz!) Glee has taken with their characters this season have gone over with viewers and critics alike VERY WELL!

So it's no surprise - BUT STILL VERY EXCITING - that during the Television Critics Association's winter press tour, Fox Entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly spilled some pretty exciting details about what will be coming for the smash series…because he's VERY CONFIDENT that Glee - and by default, the Oxygen reality competition The Glee Project - will be BACK for more than just another year, regardless of what that means for graduating characters!

As he explained, what was originally conceived as a New York-set spin-off for Kurt and Rachel has managed to be a "seamless" fit for the actual series, so in later years, as other members of New Directions grow up, it could actually become much more prominent part of the storyline:

We really did think this would work out, but we guess they just couldn't make the stars align.

When it was announced that The Office would be ending after this year's ninth season, series creator and current showrunner Greg Daniels, along with many current castmembers, expressed his hope that Steve Carell would once again re-appear as the NBC comedy's original protagonist, Michael Scott, to bid properly bid farewell to the role that propelled him into super-stadom!

However, we're very sad to reveal that during the Television Critics Association panel yesterday, NBC chairman Robert Greenblatt announced that there was

Disney Buys Lucasfilm!!! Another Star Wars Trilogy On Way???

Disney Buys Lucas

When George Lucas said he was retiring, we didn't realize how serious he was!

Well, someone at Disney was paying attention! Chairman and CEO Robert A. Iger put 2 and 2 together and made 4.

Billion.

As in a $4 b-b-billion with a "B" offer which George accepted! The Walt Disney Company is now the proud owner of LucasFilm Ltd.!

In his announcement this afternoon, Iger explains:

"Lucasfilm reflects the extraordinary passion, vision, and storytelling of its founder, George Lucas. This transaction combines a world-class portfolio of content including Star Wars, one of the greatest family entertainment franchises of all time, with Disney's unique and unparalleled creativity across multiple platforms, businesses, and markets to generate sustained growth and drive significant long-term value."

Um, we know we read between the lines a lot, but it sounded to us like he just said they're going to be making more Star Wars!

So what does George himself have to say about the transaction?
