BRB, Wondering How Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Jared Kushner, & Ivanka Trump All Made TIME's 100 List — Oh Wait…

The 2017 TIME 100 list is here!

Unfortunately, it's a sad (SAD!) reality that Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner top the list of the year's most influential people. Sigh.

And while there are a ton of deserving and inspiring humans (think: Elizabeth Warren, Viola Davis, John Legend, etc.) — other parts of the list definitely leave a sour taste in our mouths. We mean, even Vladimir Putin is on there…

Despite POTUS totally calling Paul Ryan "Ron" several times during a speech the other day (no, really), the Speaker of the House penned an essay praising Drumpf's "get it done" personality (even though he hasn't gotten much done at all).

What a sad day.

As we previously reported, actor and comedian Charlie Murphy passed away on April 12 after a battle with leukemia. He was only 57-years-old.

Although Charlie was Eddie Murphy's older brother, he made a name for himself by starring in several successful projects such as Chappelle's Show, The Boondocks, Black Jesus, and Are We There Yet. So it's no wonder numerous celebrities have since taken to Twitter to pay tribute to the late funny man — including Chris Rock, Gabrielle Union, Ice Cube, etc.

Be sure to take a look at their kind words for yourself (below).

Grammys Head Honcho Neil Portnow Doesn't Think There's A 'Problem With Race At All' Following Beyoncé Snub

Neil Portnow

The last black artist to win Album of the Year at the Grammys was Herbie Hancock in 2008, and the last black woman was Lauryn Hill in 1999.

But still — the President of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, Neil Portnow, doesn't think "there's a race problem at all" with the voting system.

In an interview with Pitchfork this week following Beyoncé's controversial snub and boycotts from artists like Frank Ocean, Portnow commented on the award show's apparent shut-out of minority artists.

Chance The Rapper Has No Problems After Winning Best New Artist At The 2017 Grammys!!

Jennifer Lopez Presents Best New Artist At The… by videosuploaded

He's got that new artist smell now!!!

Being an independent artist and all, Chance The Rapper has no record label to thank for all his success.

But when the rapper took home his first Grammy award on Sunday night, he had a much more powerful force to express his gratitude to — the big man upstairs!

Lil' Chano beat out some tough competition to take home the trophy for Best New Artist, including Kelsea Ballerini, The Chainsmokers, Maren Morris, and Anderson .Paak!

When the 23-year-old got on stage, he spoke on what it really meant to be "independent" — and even when he started to get played off, the dramatic music just made the end of his speech that much more powerful!

Ch-ch-check out his speech (above)!
