Scottie Pippen Won’t Be Charged For His Malibu Attack!

scottie pippen charges dropped nobu malibu fight

This has to be a weight off of his shoulders!

You may remember that Scottie Pippen was involved in a fight outside of Nobu in Malibu in late June.

Well, the L.A. County D.A. decided that there wasn’t enough evidence to determine if the former NBAer was the aggressor or was simply defending himself.

It was decided, however, that the victim’s injuries were fake because he was drunk at the time AND tested positive for opiates. Oh boy.

But the victim is still going to try to sue Scottie in civil court for $4 million.

Good luck with that one, faker!

Taryn Manning Is Sentenced For Assaulting Her Assistant

What a doozy!

Taryn Manning, who was arrested for assualting her assistant Holly Hartman, has been offered a deal by the courts.

Since her record is squeaky clean, the actress was offered an ACD, or adjournment in contemplation of dismissal, and one day of community service.

We’re sure she’ll put that day to good use. LOLZ!

If she completes her day of picking up trash, and behaves herself for six months, then all charges will be dropped.

Since this is her first incident, we’re sure the six months will be a breeze.

This is such good news! We couldn’t imagine Taryn being behind bars.

Lance Armstrong Doping Inquiry Closed! Charges Dropped!

Justice at last!

This afternoon, federal prosecutors closed their investigation of Lance Armstrong's alleged use of performance-enhancing drugs after two-years of trying to pin something on him. They were convinced he and his cycling teammates were competing while under a "doping program," but all inquiries into the claims came back negative.

And you know what? Lance knew they would never find anything one him, which is why he steadfastly denied every allegation thrown at him. Now, he has the satisfaction of knowing he proved them all right and his unparalleled career remains untarnished.

Congrats, Lance! You remain the world's greatest cyclist! Ride on!

Felony Battery Charges DROPPED Against NCIS Actor David Fisher!

ncis actor david fisher charges dropped

Lucky man!

To recap - back in September, NCIS actor David Fisher was arrested for allegedly attacking a neighbor over a disagreement involving swimming pool towels!

Authorities were saying that Fisher allegedly hit and choked the victim…and he was sent to jail on felony battery charges.

Then, Fisher spoke up about the incident, and claimed he was acting out of self defense because the neighbor pushed/provoked him first AFTER insulting his death mother! Ouch!

Now, charges against Fisher have been dropped after the actor pleaded "no contest" to a minor disturbing the peace charge, for which he was slapped with a $50 fine…which the judge ended up writing off.

Here's what Fisher had to say about the violent incident:

Nickelodeon Star Ryan Rottman Is NOT Being Charged With DUI!

ryan rottman dui charges dropped

Something's rotten in the state of El Lay…

Back in August, we were VERY surprised to learn that Nickelodeon star Ryan Rottman pled NOT GUILTY of a July DUI charge…even though the evidence was all there! The guy blew a .19 on his breathalyzer test!

Guess he must have known something that we didn't know, because the DUI charges have been thrown out!

Instead of a DUI, Ryan

Oksana Drops Domestic Violence Claim Against Mel Gibson!

And the big question on everyone's minds is….WHY???

This morning, Oksana Grigorieva officially dropped her domestic violence case against her former lover and father of her child, Mel Gibson.

Her lawyer, Dan Horowitz, announced the news this morning in meeting with the judge on the case as well as Mel's legal team. We hear that both parties were visibly shocked by the news.

So what gives? Why quit now? It's not like she didn't have tons of evidence to support her claim. The phone calls alone were enough to sway any judge or jury in her favor.

Well, as we understand it, Oksana's decision to drop the charges was a gesture of peace. She may actually be looking to extend an invitation to talk to Mel personally, now that the DV protective order she obtained has also been nullified. We're not sure exactly what she wants to talk to him about, but we're concerned that this move might lead her down a path she has no business traveling, if you catch our drift.

Let's put it another way - so far, there is no word yet if Oksana is still pursuing a civil lawsuit against Mel. Lawsuit = $$$. Catching on yet?

Regardless of her motives, we think this was a bad idea and we're not really sure why her lawyer allowed her to do this. Whatever she has up her sleeves, she better be damn sure she's prepared for the consequences.

Judge Dismisses Charges In Anna Nicole Smith Case

We can't say this makes us very happy, though we're glad to hear there is some resolve to the case regardless.

This morning, the judge overseeing the Anna Nicole Smith case dismissed some of the charges against Howard K. Stern and two doctors. The trio, who were accused of illegally providing Anna Nicole with prescription drugs, were cleared of two charges.

The first went to Stern for supposedly obtaining the drugs for Anna Nicole through means of fraud and deceit. (The charge still stands against Dr. Sandeep Kapoor.) A second charge was dropped against both parties due to insufficent proof.

The remaining charges against all three defendants will all go to the jury. Hopefully, by Monday, this whole thing will be over with.
