A man with a knife has been shot dead while trying to enter a Paris police station.

According to French media reports, the unidentified man was carrying a belt of fake explosives outside the station at 11:30 a.m. local time, before being shot down by officers.

The knifeman reportedly shouted "Allahu akbar" (an Arabic phrase meaning "God is the greatest") before lunging at police officers.

This isn't something we thought we'd be reporting on today!

One of the biggest news stories of the year so far has undoubtedly been the terror attacks on Charlie Hebdo in Paris, France on Jan. 7.

Naturally, news sites around the world were eager to report on the shooting, including FOX News.

But after some not-so-nice reporting about the state of France following the attacks, the Mayor of Paris has stated that she intends on suing the network for promoting anti-Muslim propaganda!

Two Remaining Suspects In Charlie Hebdo Massacre Killed, Along With Supermarket Gunman — Female Suspect Escapes

The two remaining suspects in Wednesday's massacre at the Charlie Hebdo offices are dead.

Brothers Cherif and Said Kouachi were alleged to have carried out the deadly shooting that killed 12 people, including eight journalists, two police officers, a maintenance worker and a visitor.

The gunmen stormed the Paris offices of the satirical newspaper, shooting the senior staff and then continuing indiscriminately. They told witnesses they were from Al Qaeda and trained in Yemen. They executed police officer Ahmed Merabet before fleeing in a getaway car.

The Kouachi brothers were cornered in a print shop in Dammartin-en-Goële Friday morning, where they took a hostage before being shot by police forces. The hostage was rescued.
