Steve Bannon Says You Can Call Him 'Racist' — But What Does He Think About That Grim SNL Portrayal?

no title

The Grim Reaper has spoken… and he really doesn't mind the comparison.

Steve Bannon couldn't care less that Saturday Night Live portrayed him as the angel of death in various presidential sketches last season because, unlike Donald Trump, the former White House chief strategist doesn't "need the affirmation of the mainstream media."

When asked by Charlie Rose about the scathingly evil caricature on Sunday's 60 Minutes, Bannon replied:

"I don't care what they say. They can call me an anti-Semite. They can call me racist. They call me nativist. You can call me anything you want. Okay? As long as we're driving this agenda for the working men and women of this country, I'm happy."

Hmmm… kinda sounds like he likes being called racist and anti-Semitic??

Throughout the interview, Bannon remained loyal to his former boss/puppet boy, calling POTUS "very presidential" and even complimenting his Twitter skills:

"Our purpose is to support Donald Trump… to make sure his enemies know there's no free shot on goal."

Uh oh. Watch out, CNN — Bannon is putting his goalie mask on!

After re-pledging his allegiance to the Drumpf, the former aide suggested White House staffers who don't agree with the president's actions — or, say, his response to Charlottesville — should quit their bitching and leave.

No one ever said creating an America for everyone was easy.

But according to Jon Stewart, the idea of a country run by people of different cultures, backgrounds, and histories is "not natural."

The former Daily Show host trimmed his beard to sit down with Charlie Rose and give his rational take on the results of the election.

He said on Thursday's CBS This Morning:

"I don't believe we are a fundamentally different country today than we were two weeks ago. The same country that elected Donald Trump elected Barack Obama. This election, to me is just another extension of the long argument that we've had from our founding, which is: What are we?"

Right now, we are a country with a Donald Trump presidency looming over our heads — an electoral upset the comedian attributes to citizens losing faith in our dysfunctional government.

While Trump's campaign was full of questions — Is he a sexual criminal? Is he fit to lead a country? Are his hands really that small? — Stewart says there's one question the President-elect was NEVER asked. He mused:
