One Direction sure are some record-breaking blokes!

It looks like breaking the record for the most viewed vid in 24 hours on VEVO for their single, Live While We’re Young, wasn’t the only achievement they’ve seen recently!

The track has just become the highest selling first week single by a UK artist in the States!

LWWY is currently number one on the charts and has already sold 341,000 copies in ONE week, making it the biggest opening week sales for a song by a non-US artist EVER!!!

Wow! What a HUGE accomplishment!

Filling the hole left by Madonna is gonna take more than just Cameron Diaz apparently — Gwyneth Paltrow is looking to spend some of that free time producing a musical based on the Go-Go's!

All jokes aside, we have no idea how she would ever come close to having time for this… but apparently she's deep in talks right now, negotiating her little heart out!!

How big? Try 600,000 units sold in its first week, becoming the rock quartet's first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart!

JK! No Doubt is expected to sell 120-125k in Push and Shove's first-week sales. That's pretty good, pretty good.

But looks like Mumford & Sons' Babel is boasting between 575-625k. And they haven't had eleven years of anticipation on their side like Gwen Stefani and the boys do. So their lead is impressive!
