Things are not so easy for Amy Robach right now, who's going through chemo to battle breast cancer.

The longtime news anchor showed up to GMA with a brand new haircut, even though she's known for her shoulder-length hair. But, she couldn't stay with it any longer.

Just one month into her chemo she was feeling out of control of her own body, and this is how she took it back!

We hope she realizes how many people she's helping being so open and honest about everything — it's so inspiring. She's allowed to be emotionally drained, physically drained. She's a real person going through a real scary situation, but she's making it through…

Others can too.

Watch the video AFTER THE JUMP for a truly awe-inspiring journey so far. It's worth EVERY second, and hearing her talk at-length about everything couldn't be more moving.

Michael Douglas ‘Getting Better’

Michael Douglas ‘Getting Better’

Michael Douglas’ upbeat attitude in the face of uncertainty is continually inspiring!

While it’s still hard to say for sure what the outcome will be, Douglas’ rep assures us that things are looking up:

"No one knows the real prognoses. Cancer is a long process and it has been several months and he is getting better. He is in recovery and he keeps improving. He did seven weeks of chemo and was doing it five days a week— and has been off it for almost two months now.”

He continued:

"The chemo makes you swollen so it is difficult for the doctors to check at this point how effective it has been. He needs to wait several months."

Douglas’ rep ended on a positive note by saying, “He is doing so well. He is really doing better."

Keep him in your thoughts during his recovery!!

Michael Douglas Opens Up About Health Improvements

Rumors circulating about Michael Douglas’ health have been grim at best, but in a recent interview he reveals that although he still has a tough road ahead, he is doing well.

Counter to what many tabloids are reporting, the interviewer describes Michael as “fully alive, alert, deeply intelligent and in person nothing whatsoever like the haggard figure that graces the National Enquirer and its kin.”

That being said, Douglas is going through the incredibly difficult process of chemo, which is a struggle for anyone:

“The level of chemo, the amount they’re giving you, combined with radiation, was the max they could do in that period of time. It’s amazing that they almost have to try and kill you to bring you back.”

Amazingly, Michael has maintained an upbeat attitude about the entire process, and has gained perspective along the way:

“After all the adversity I’ve had this year, with my health and my son’s incarceration, my ex-wife and the lawsuit — to be able to sit here and talk to you, I’m so happy.”

So inspirational!!
