Facebook has issued an apology after rejecting an advertisement featuring plus sized model Tess Holliday, claiming the photo depicts "body parts in an undesirable manner".
The advert was promoting a talk show from Cherchez la Femme, an Australian group that holds monthly events with "an unapologetically feminist angle."
Last week, the group said FB banned the ad that showed Holliday wearing a bikini, telling them it violated the company's "ad guidelines".
After CLF appealed the rejection, the social networking site's ad team defended the decision, noting that the photo failed to follow their "health and fitness policy," writing:
