Art imitating life, perhaps??
Chicago Fire star Jesse Spencer may only play Lt. Matt Casey on TV—but in a dramatic twist of events, he had to take on the role of a real-life hero last week!
His parents and a group of tourists got trapped in an elevator for 45 minutes while touring the Illinois State Capitol on Sunday, so Jesse knew he had to do something!
He aided in the elevator escape by prying open the jammed doors enough to get a cell phone signal to dial 911—continuing to keep the group calm until real firefighters came to the rescue.
In an interview after the incident, the heroic actor revealed:

Looks like the sexypants spawn of Clint Eastwood won't be making heat on the small screen this season!
Scott Eastwood is officially off the Chicago Fire spin-off Chicago PD!
According to sources, this hottie quietly left the series over the summer for creative reasons—but fear not!
Scotty's Instagram is full of nearly nekkid pics to enjoy until another show/movie scoops him up!

This dog is one lucky pup!
The cast on Chicago Fire rescued a dog, but didn't stop there!
They made the pooch, named Pouch, a regular on the television show - it didn't have to audition or anything!
Hear the creator explain it:

Chicago's WGN-Channel 9 news anchors were SHOCKED when their traffic helicopter picked up footage of an airplane crash in the middle of a busy road.
Little did they know… the "crash" was merely a set piece for an upcoming episode of NBC's new drama Chicago Fire!
Ch-ch-check out the confusing news report (above)!
Obvi the best part of the video is when they find out they've been duped.
The anchors actually seem PISSED that a crash didn't take place!
So much for that local Emmy… LOLz!

What that means for you is lots of sexy firemen, heat, and also sexy firemen. Plus, Dr. Chase left his job practicing medicine to be a firefighter now, and he's sexy.
Did we mention the firemen?? Ha!
