Did you know that Russia is the second largest tobacco market in the WORLD? China's got them beat, for sure, but being #2 on a list like that is nothing to be proud of!

Well, we'll tell you what IS something to be proud of: Russian lawmakers just backed a law which would ban smoking in bars, cafes and other public spaces to promote healthier living!

Visitors Throw Snowballs At Defenseless Lions At Chinese Zoo

Sad…why would they allow such a thing???

Patrons at the Hangzhou Zoo in China were caught throwing snowballs at the lions….

Caught by cameras…but somehow no zoo staff saw this animal abuse being done.

Dog Treats Get Pulled Due To Antibiotic Residue

A dog treats company has recalled two of its products due to antibiotic residue in their meats from China.

Nestle Purina PetCare Co. voluntarily withdrew all Waggin’ Train and Canyon Creek Ranch brand dog treats sold in the United States.

New York's state agricultural department found the residue, which is legal for poultry in China but it is considered adulteration in the States.

Nestle Purina was sure to call it a "withdrawal" instead of a "recall" to make sure pet owners knew it is still technically safe to eat the products.

Technically safe…..

Poachers Kill Entire Family Of Elephants!

This is just AWFUL!

At the Tsavo National Park in Kenya, the Wildlife Service said they believe a gang of 10 poachers killed a whole family of elephants!

That is so sad!

They are currently pursuing the poachers who are believed to have killed 11 elephants.

The gunfire attack killed the whole family, then the poachers chopped off

Chinese scientists have found a peptide in giant panda blood that when synthesized, has shown the ability to fight and kill a wide variety of cooties such as bacteria and fungi.
