Manicure Mondays just got a whole lot better.

Ever since Bruce Jenner bared his soul to the world on Friday with Diane Sawyer regarding his struggle with gender identity, there has been a huge outpouring of support for the Olympian!

On Monday morning, Australian radio station KIIS 106.5 encouraged all of their listeners — specifically the men — to paint their nails to show their support for the 65-year-old.

Isn't it amazing how people EVERYWHERE are embracing Bruce's news? The support is overwhelming.

We have a feeling this idea stemmed from Bruiser's 20/20 interview when he said he wishes he could:

"Have my nail polish on long enough that it actually chips off."

The hashtag #PaintYourNailsForBruce was created and so many people have since shared pictures of their participation in the social trend.

Both men and women alike were posting photos on Instagram and Twitter. Here are just a few of many out there on the interwebz:

A Fast And Cheap HIV Test Is On The Way

hiv-fast-easy-chip.jpg

A new fast and cheap HIV test called "lab on a chip" has successfully detected both HIV and syphilis in a new test among a Rwandan population.

The device is a clear, credit card-shaped piece of plastic that produces test results within 20 minutes. It offers a faster, cheaper, and easier way to detect such diseases.

Cheap HIV tests that provide results within 30 minutes have been available for years, but it's an outdated method.

VP at RTI International Doris Rouse says:

"This is a big step. What’s especially exciting about this device is that it’s rugged, easy to use and doesn’t require a lot of infrastructure or training.

This [new] test can be done outside the lab with all the same advantages and sensitivity [for detection]."

Experts say the chip could be available within two to three years, but only if companies are willing to fund it. This is not only an important step in preventing HIV in newborns, but it's also a great investment. We don't see why companies wouldn't want to fund the chip. Here's hoping it becomes a reality.

Nail Polish That Lasts A Month? Yup, It's Real!

Here's something we're guessing nail divas will love.

Usually just a few days after a manicure, your polish begins to chip. But Creative Nail Design has been working on a "hybrid nail polish" for the past five years.

The innovative nail polish, called Shellac, is described as a "Hybrid Nail Color. On Like Polish. Wears Like Gel. Off In Minutes." And once applied, it can last for over two weeks.

The gel should be applied and removed by a professional. It goes on normally with a base coat, two color coats, and then a top coat. But after each coat your nails will now go under a special ultraviolet light box which will also leave your nails dry as soon as you're done.

Removing the polish will take about 10 to 25 minutes as each nail needs a special, wraparound sleeve placed over it and worn for several minutes.

Though Hannah Lee, editor of Nails magazine, reveals there are plenty similar polishes being release. Says Lee, “This year has been a huge boom in these soak-off gels. Everyone is coming out with them.”

However, the new gel polishes won't work for everyone. One CND nail technician reveals “If your nails are dry, or there’s flaking of the natural nail, it will crack or chip where those peelings are."

Shellac will hit stores nationwide this May 1st.

What Dita Von Teese wants, Dita gets.

The fashion icon has been rocking those moon manicured nails of hers for years.

The look, which was popular back in the '30s and '40s, has even made its way onto recent fashion show runways.

But on the request of Mz. Dita, Kiss Products created some press-on nails in Dita's signature red moon manicure.

The nails are designed to last up to a week without chipping, but unfortunately for everyone else, they're not for sale yet. They're specially made for Dita.

We're guessing it won't be long though before the requests from customers to have their own moon manicures convinces the company to sell the "Dita Nails."

Would U buy them?
