Playboy Model Katie May's Baby Daddy Suing Chiropractor Over 'Aggressive Neck Adjustment' Lawyers Say Caused Her Death

We told you about the tragic death of Katie May last year.

The Playboy model died in February 2016 after suffering a stroke the coroner ruled was caused by a torn artery apparently suffered during a trip to the chiropractor. She was only 34.

Now May's estate executor, Alex Maimon, who had an 8-year-old daughter with the model, is suing Dr. Eric Marc Swartz for his role in her death.

According to TMZ, the legal case made by the estate says when May went to Dr. Swartz after a fall, he should have sent her to the hospital for more tests rather than giving her an "aggressive neck adjustment." The suit also claims the doc wrote her patient report four days AFTER her death. Suspicious…

Maimon is suing for wrongful death, malpractice, and negligence. And it sounds like he might have a case.

What do YOU think??

Gwen Stefani Doesn't Plaid By The Rules As She's Caught Wearing FLANNEL In June!

Gwen Stefani wraps up in flannel in July!

Summer is here!!

Except you wouldn’t be able to tell it from Gwen Stefani’s cozy ensem on Wednesday!

The (literally) hawt mama was covered up in a red flannel and black skinnies for her visit to her chiropractor’s office in El Lay.

But being her too-cool self, she kept a few of those buttons undone, flashing the paps some midriff!

At least, she got some sort of breeze. Ha!

Add in her signature red lips, L.A.M.B. wedges, and big sunnies, and Gwen's hip ensem was complete.

EXCLUSIVE: Ali Landry's Tips To Cope With Post-Pregnancy Pain

Giving birth is one of the most painful and challenging things a human being can endure.

The toll it takes on a woman's body is immeasurable. And the last thing women want to do after giving birth is carry around an 8-pound baby.

But there are ways to cope with getting over the soreness and alleviating the pain, particularly in your back.

Thankfully, our Perezitos.com celeb contributor Ali Landry has some wonderful chiropractic tips for new moms.

Ali says:

You would think that after giving birth, the worst pain would be over. That is true to some extent, but that doesn’t mean we are completely out of the woods. No matter how tiny they may be, holding a baby for great part of the day can take a toll on your back.

Not to mention all the bending down to change diapers, dress, bathe, feed, etc. The constant strain and extra weight you’re carrying around can cause back pain and achy joints, which is just about the last thing you need right now. I myself suffered from these inconvenient ailments, so I turned to my chiropractor Dr. Elliot Berlin for some tips on how to both prevent and alleviate the pain.

If you’re already experiencing soreness, Dr. Berlin recommends massages and chiropractic adjustments to help loosen tight muscles and restore motion, as well as overall relaxation. Good hydration is also key as dry muscles become stiff and spasm, so keep that water bottle nearby at all times. And make sure to take a multivitamin with minerals, especially if you’re nursing. Babies suck out a lot of nutrients that your muscles need to relax.

As for preventive measures, Dr. Berlin emphasizes the importance of stretching regularly. Posture is also essential, so you might want to look at yourself in the mirror when holding your child to make sure that you are not bending significantly to one side with your hip closing in on your shoulder. This will cause muscles to tighten on one side and weaken on the other.

Examine your posture when breastfeeding, too, to make sure you’re not slumping. If you are, add a back support pillow and sit with your knees slightly higher than your hips to keep the hip joints open.

Finally – and you may not like this, but it’s really important – wear supportive shoes! This is just one of those times when fashion has to take a backseat.

Such great advice! And Ali's right. Being a new mom isn't about being a fashionista. It's about being comfortable, energized, and ready to go at a moment's notice.

MELtdown Left Daughter Alone To Have A Cigarette, She Bumps Her Head!

What else did this nutcase do?!

During Oksana Grigorieva and Mel Gibson's custody battle last month, the baby mamma revealed in her deposition that the psychotic douchebag left daughter Lucia alone to smoke a cigarette - and she fell so hard she needed to see a chiropractor!

She explains:

"I ran downstairs and he already picked her up and told me that he did something stupid. He (Mel) didn't say very much, he was upset and I took Lucia and I was — I didn't say anything to him. I asked him how it happened, and what had happened and how he found her, and he explained everything to me. Showed where she fell from and I analyzed her and looked at her eyes. I looked at her bruises - not bruises but the bump on her front and the bump on her back, back of the head and the front of the head and analyzed that - but she looked focused. After initial shock of crying and, of course, I consoled her and she stopped crying eventually. So literally she was sitting on a slide on top of the table. I think he went to have a smoke and she slid down. There was no reconstruction. He just explained it to me. Since Lucia didn't show signs of serious injury… there was no need to take her to an emergency room."

Yeah. He's DEFINITELY stable enough to take care of her!

Just another reason he should have custody of that poor child!
