We hear ya, BB! We can't wait to see him back on the big screen ourselves!
For awhile now, we've been hearing rumors that Tom Hardy will be stepping into the shoes of the villain for Chris Nolan's next Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. Someone people are suggesting he could be playing Hugo Strange or hit man Deadshot, but everyone is keeping mum about the plot and characters and nothing is confirmed.
Still, that hasn't stopped Christian Bale from expressing his shear delight that he'll get the chance to work with the Inception star. When talking about the opportunity to work with Tom, Christian called him a "balls-out actor" and that it will be "good" working opposite of him.
"Opposite" as in "against" maybe???
C'mon! You know you'd love to see Tom be BAD!

We agree. Three movies sounds about right to us.
Not much is known about Chris Nolan's next swing into Gotham City. Even the title, The Dark Knight Rises, is still only speculation. But one thing we do know is that Christian Bale is out after this coming movie. He's ready to don his Batman suit one more time, before calling it quits. He explained to sources:
“This will be, I believe, until Chris [Nolan] says different, the last time I’ll be playing Batman. Absolutely, we want to go all out with it.”
Oh, and considering Chris, we have no doubt that he will. The big question is WHEN???
Hopefully sooner rather than later!

Because he is in a need of director!
Warner Bros. Studios has said that in the next four weeks, the studio will be releasing a lot of news about some big superhero flicks going into production. One that is being actively talked about is the resurrection of Superman, under the guidance of Batman director, Chris Nolan.
Only problem is he is in need of a director. Supposedly, he's got a good list going, including Tony Scott, Let Me In director Matt Reeves and Sucker Punch mastermind Zack Snyder.
But slowly and surely, the movie is making it's way into being a reality, which is really the news fans want to hear.
Are U excited by the prospect of another Superman flick?

You know who is happy this morning?
Know why? Inception passed $200 million at the box office last night. The grand total for the last 19 days - $201.7 million! Amazing!
Enjoy this one, Chris! Here's hoping the kick never comes!

Chris Nolan's mind-bending thriller Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio took the top spot at the box office this weekend, raking in over $60 million!
Dan Fellman of Warner Bros. commented that Nolan is "a star for us. It's clear there's no kind of movie he can't make, and make well."
This is also proves that 2-D movies with a smart plot can still open to blockbuster numbers, which is good news for the movie industry. Imax's Greg Foster adds, "and people see Chris' movies more than once. We're not moving this out of theaters anytime soon."
And as for Leo, this is officially his best debut ever. It's already made more than 2008's Blood Diamond!
Despicable Me came in 2nd while The Sorcerer's Apprentice brought in a disappointing $17 million at 3rd place. Sucks for Nicolas Cage!
What did U see this weekend?

Good man. Heath Ledger made that role. In honor of his memory, it's better to let it stay his role.
Director Christopher Nolan has announced that the Joker will not be reappearing in the next Batman movie.
In a recent interview, Nolan decided not to divulge which villain or villains would be appearing in Batman 3, which is due out next July 2012. But, he insisted that for him, Heath was the "definitive" Joker and that it wouldn't be appropriate to recast.
We totally agree. Time to get some new villains anyway. There is such a magnitude to choose from anyway.
Any villain U'd like to see in the next movie?

So much so that he's begging people to be in their movies - like, literally!
Robin Williams is reportedly pleading with the movie execs behind Chris Nolan's next Batman movie to have he casted as the villian. According to Robin, back in the day, he was shut out twice by
better other actors for pivotal roles in the franchise and now he thinks he is due. He told Empire Magazine:
"I would do Batman in a second. I'd play The Riddler in the next one, although it would be hard to top Heath Ledger as the villain and I'm a little hairy for tights…The Batman films have screwed me twice before: years ago they offered me The Joker and then gave it to Jack Nicholson, then they offered me The Riddler and gave it to Jim Carrey. I'd be like, 'Ok, is this a real offer? If it is, then the answer's yes. Don't pump me again motherf**kers'."
Wow! Sour grapes, Mrs. Doubtfire!
Hey, there's an idea! How about you try and get a Mrs. Doubtfire sequel made?
There is more of a chance you'll get that role than ANY role in the Batman franchise! (But not by much…you've really gotten old and unfunny since the old days!)
