The passings of big stars like Joan Rivers and Leonard Nimoy made 2015 a tough year for loss.
In fact, we said goodbye to so many TV stars this year that a handful of notable deaths were left out of the In Memoriam segment at the 2015 Emmys.
Among the stars that were omitted from the segment — Yvonne Craig, who played Batgirl in the 1960s Batman TV show died in August at the age of 78 and pro-wrestling icon "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who died in July at 61.

Suzanne Crough, who played Tracy Partridge on The Partridge Family passed in April. Sawyer Sweeten, who played Geoffrey Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, tragically took his own life in April.
Other stars left out of the obituary segment were Saturday Night Live alum George Coe, Seinfeld star Daniel von Bargen, acting legend Christopher Lee, and American Horror Story: Freak Show actor Ben Woolf — who died in February after being hit by a car.
Even though these actors weren't included in the segment, they still all left their marks in television history!
