Christopher Reeve's charity is still going strong, and there is more than enough evidence with how many people came out to support it's gala event — including a long list of celebs!

It was even hosted by Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin!!

Matthew and Alexandra, Christopher's kids, were there as the family representatives giving support — as Christopher passed away in 2004, and his wife Dana in 2006 (because of lung cancer).

The charity looks to find treatments and cures for paralysis caused by spinal cord injury — something Christopher had to deal with for almost 10 years.

It's such a good cause, and we're glad to see that it's still very important to people even after these past few years!

Yesterday, we reported that Ilya Salkind, who produced Christopher Reeve's Superman films, had reportedly been declared missing.

Now, we are very happy to announce that Ilya has been found, and he is alive!

Apparently, Salkind flew to Mexico City to "oversee work on a property he inherited from his late mother."

Concerned friends filed a missing person report on Tuesday, and they created a web site to help find him.

According to a friend of the producer, he was found alive in a hospital yesterday morning, and is currently sedated.

We're happy to hear that he's been found and getting treatment.

We hope he gets better soon!

Ilya Salkind, who produced Christopher Reeve's Superman films, has reportedly been declared missing.

According to John C. Palmer, who is the executive vice president of Salkind's production company, the 63 year old was visiting the town of Tepoztlán, Mexico, but hasn't been reached since Sunday night.

Palmer explains:

“It’s not uncommon for Ilya to drop off the face of the earth for a couple of days and then just reappear.”

However, the Mexican police force has filed a missing person's report, the American Embassy has been contacted, and a private investigator has still been hired.

Sounds pretty serious. We sincerely hope that Palmer is right, and Salkind will reappear soon, safe and sound.

Scandalous!

The book Hollywood Babylon Strikes Again alleges that late Superman actor Christopher Reeve had a two month affair with late gay porn star Cal Culver!

Culver reportedly gave an interview in 1987, before he passed away from an AIDS, and claims that he meet Reeve while they were both auditioning for a part on Broadway.

He explained:

"Christopher was a great lover and I think I liberated him sexually. I didn't think he was gay but he seemed willing to try anything once. He was curious."

The affair ended when Reeve discovered that Culver was in the porn business!

Crazy! Seeing that both men have passed on, we guess we'll never know if it's true or not!
