Now, Lenny has opened up further about his role, and the man who inspired his performance!

This is one of our favorite characters from the series, and we're SO excited that such a legend in his own right is taking on the role in the film!

Lenny Kravitz recently opened up about taking on the role of Cinna, the stylist and quiet mentor of Jennifer Lawrence's character in the adaptation of The Hunger Games, and explains that he was immediately drawn to the role after reading the script for the film, directed by Gary Ross!

Exciting times for Lenny Kravitz!

Earlier this week, we learned that Lenny was confirmed to play the role of Cinna in the Hunger Games movie, which we thought was awesome.

Now, Kravitz has announced that he'll be releasing his new album, Black and White America, on Aug 22. He's also announced that he's got a Europe tour in the works. Very cool!

We're glad to see how well things are going for you, Lenny! We're pumped about the album and we're REALLY looking forward to seeing you in Hunger Games!
