An international pop star and Madonna still has time to do her civic duty?!
Although Madge was reportedly 30 minutes late, the iconic singer took time out of her busy schedule on Monday morning to attend jury duty, a yearly obligation that Americans are required to attend.
However, unlike us normal folk, the Material Girl received red carpet treatment when she arrived at the courthouse.

Katy Perry couldn't have been more proud to vote Barack Obama into office for four more years.
The 28-year-old singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to share her excitement and tweeted:
"Proud to exercise my civic duty!"
She also shared a pic of herself after dropping a ballot in the box at her polling location (above). She dazzled with a blue pantsuit, a white blouse and black tie, then complimented her look with a pair of cool shades.
Gurl looked good and made a good decision! Lovin' that patriotism!

This is pretty brillz.
Civic Duty has found a great way to recycle FedEx envelopes by turning them into shoes!
The used envelops are dyed and attached to recycled rubber soles to make Chuck Taylor and Keds style kicks.
Civic Duty is also creating a special charity shoe with 100% of the profits going to Common Ground Relief.
Eco-friendly and for a good cause?
Sounds like a win/win to us!
