Mark Burnett may have settled a $70 million legal battle with a former business partner a few months ago, but he's still got his ex-wife to worry about!

In a memoir called The Road to Reality: My Journey as a Real-Life Survivor, Dianne Burnett is claiming that she came up with key conceptual elements for Survivor.

The couple divorced in 2006 and she got a nice little chunk of change for her heartbreak, but she never got any credit for her alleged contributions to CBS' reality hit. She claims to have

Crazy! $14 Million Lottery Winner In Iowa Refuses To Claim The Money!!!

Filed under: Wacky, Tacky & True

iowa lottery winner wont claim prize

We'll take it if they don't want it! Ha!

We've just learned that an attorney who WAS representing a trust attempting to claim a Hot Lotto jackpot of $14.3 million in Iowa has WITHDRAWN the trust's claim to the money! WTF!

It gets weirder, though - apparently the attorney doesn't even know the identity of the person who no longer wants the prize!

All the attorney knows is that the winner's trust is "a corporation in Belize, a small Central American country of about 330,000 people in a land area about one-sixth the size of Iowa." Bizarre.

BUT it gets even weirder! Now,

No Drugs Or Alcohol Found In Tracy Morgan's System

Tracy Morgan collapse

Tracy Morgan fell unconcious shortly after attending an awards ceremony at the Sundance Film Festival and it's kinda hard to NOT think drugs or alcohol were involved.

Well, if that thought crossed your mind after hearing the news, you'd actually be wrong! The actors rep claims he collapsed "from a combination of exhaustion and altitude…any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100% false."

A spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center is backing up that claim too and said no drugs or alcohol was found in Tracy’s system upon medical evaluation.

Eyewitness accounts, however, allege that "during the dinner Morgan seemed out of control, yelling and falling onto the ground." While those could be signs on intoxication, they could also just be signs of Tracy Morgan being Tracy Morgan. Ha!

Either way, we hope Tracy feels better soon and can enjoy the rest of the festival.

Owners Killing Their Pets To Get Insurance Payouts

little-cripple-doggy.jpg

In the UK, dishonest claims on pet insurance polices have quadrupled.

It is now the fastest growing area of insurance crime.

Figures from insurers show over $3,000,000 worth of pet insurance fraud.

Insurers believe frauds are owners getting rid of their pets, by selling or even killing it! Then they claim a payout for "early death." They believe some animals may have never even existed in the first place.

Other frauds are fake accidents to cover up pre-existing injuries or conditions that aren't covered by the policy.

Some scams even involve staging the disappearance of a pet because some policies payout for lost or stolen animals.

Experts believe some vets are even involved, claiming treatment that never occurred or billing insurance companies for more expensive procedures that were never actually performed!

A fraud investigator said:

"I am aware of cases were owners have maimed their animals in order to make claims on their policies."

Disgusting.

A pet product manager said:

"The increase in detected pet insurance fraud is quite significant. Pet insurance fraud is costing companies more and will have an impact on other people's premiums in the future."

So idiots looking for a quick payout are actually making it harder for honest people to insure their pets, who may actually need it.

Thanks a lot, idiots.
