Modeling Agencies Slapped With $20 Million Class-Action Lawsuit!

New York City modeling agencies Elite, Wilhelmina and Ford are being sued for bamboozling models out their paycheck.

That ain't right!

The lawsuit, which is being led by model Louisa Raske, states:

"Each of the modeling agencies has money in its accounts that rightfully belongs to models, that is being used by the modeling agencies and which has not been paid to models."

The suit also claims models were told they would "never again model in New York" if they took legal action against the agencies.

Wow. Is that even legal?

In total, the models are asking for $20 million, the amount they were allegedly cheated out of due to shady accounting.

Nutella Settles Class Action Lawsuit Over False 'Healthy Food' Claims

Looks like Nutella will have to pay out $3 million to settle a class action lawsuit.

Consumers were upset by a commercial that made it seem like Nutella was made for a perfectly healthy breakfast.

What's funny is most people would never assume basically a melty, chocolaty spread could possibly be healthy, but one person did, and later sued.

And now it's really paid off.

Best part?

Those $35 silicone Power Balance bracelets have turned into a multi-million dollar mistake for brothers Troy and Josh Rodarmel.

The creators originally claimed their bracelets were scientifically proven to enhance strength, balance and flexibility, but later admitted it was a bunch of hooey.

Not long after coming clean about their BS of a product, a class action lawsuit was filed against Power Balance, and recently settled for $57 million.

But wait, it gets worse!

According to sources, Power Balance is planning to file for bankruptcy and close up shop completely.

The moral of the story: don't lie about your product!

Class Action Lawsuit Filed Against Skinnygirl Margarita!

Bethenny Frankel skinny girl lawsuit

People are seriously upset with Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita!

Following the news that Whole Foods removed the drink from their shelves because it contains a possibly carcinogenic preservative called sodium benzoate, a California woman has filed a class action lawsuit against the beverage!

Reneta Bonar is suing Skinnygirl's parent company, Beam Global, for making "deceptive statements" on the label, which claims the margarita is "all natural".

Sources say the woman is suing because she can to force Beam to "engage in a corrective advertising campaign" and, of course, pay unspecified damages.

She may have already gotten her wish though. According to the Skinnygirl website, the bottle will replace the "all natural" claim with "natural flavor" instead.

In any case, the company behind Skinnygirl is confident they will prevail in court and released a statement saying:

"In today's litigious society, nothing is surprising. The litigation filed in relation to the labeling of Skinnygirl Margarita is frivolous. We will defend our case vigorously, and we are fully confident we will prevail."

We don't see how this woman deserves any money beyond the $12.99 (if the judge is generous) she paid for the bottle because we're a little baffled by what exactly her "damages" were.

It should be inneresting to hear how this plays out in court!
