Now that charges are being brought against Teen Mom's Amber Portwood and she's been arrested for acting out physically against baby daddy, Gary Shirley, she was devastated to discover that she has a 'no contact' order keeping her from her daughter Leah!

A source reveals:

“She's scared. But her thoughts were with Leah and she knew Leah was going to be taken care of. Gary is very upset because he didn't want to see anything happen to Amber. If he had it his way no charges would be brought against her. He only wants his family back and intact for Leah. He wants her out of jail so he can have his family back. He knows she feels bad about everything that has happened. Amber wants to put this all behind her and move on with her life. She is hoping there will be no more jail time. She is just trying to get it all together for Leah's sake."

She's currently being held on $5,000 bail, and is expected to enter a plea to the charges during her arraignment today.

Such an unfortunate situation.

Hopefully this all can be resolved soon, and Amber will learn that violence in any capacity is never acceptable.

Not good!

As of December 27th, Teen Mom's Amber Portwood has been formally charged by the Madison County Prosecutor's office with three Class D felonies for her altercations with baby daddy Gary Shirley - which include two counts of domestic battery and one count of neglect of a dependent - and one misdemeanor charge of domestic battery!

Furthermore, a warrant for her arrest has been issued!

If convicted, she could face up to three years in jail and fines of up to $10,000.

Seems so unfortunate! But actions have consequences, bb!

We just want whatever's best for little Leah!

Thoughts?? Does Amber deserve to be sentenced so harshly?
