Our sweet little Louisiana pie has turned into a jeweled Egyptian princess!

Britney Spears tweeted out this picture (above) of her dressed very Cleopatra-like for a photoshoot on the Queen Mary featuring her new fragrance Fantasy Twist.

Plyusha is a happy-go-lucky Siberian tiger cub with her best friend, a Shar Pei puppy named Fighter.

Yekaterina Khodakova has taken in Plyusha and her sibling Clyopa after their mother refused to feed them. Fighter's mother, Cleopatra, is currently breastfeeding the cubs as a new surrogate mother.

Fewer than 400 Siberian tigers roam the wilds, so two happy cubs is what we like to see!

While all the Oscar hoopla was going down in Hollywood, Rihanna was in London still treating the stairs of her hotel like a catwalk.

On Sunday, RiRi left her hotel wearing a Topshop Unique sweater with Elizabeth Taylor as Cleopatra printed on it, a black skirt, Giuseppe Zanotti black and nude heels and Kitten Noir sunnies by Anna-Karin Karlsson.

It goes without saying that Angelina Jolie is a beautiful, stunning woman, inside and out. She's a terrific mom, a generous philanthropist and a brilliant actress. The latter made it easy for David Fincher to insist she take the lead role in his remake of Cleopatra, a role first taken on by the incomparable Elizabeth Taylor. However, though she's certainly a skillful actress, Angie also recognizes the shoes she is about to fill and she is not so bold as to suggest that she could portray the famed pharaoh better than the woman who came before her.

In a new interview, Angelina insists that she could never overshadow Liz's performance, saying:

“My performance will never be as lovely as Elizabeth’s.”

True, but we have faith it will be lovely in it's own right. There'll never be another like Miz Liz, but we think she'd be pleased to see such a reverence to the role coming from someone as talent as yourself, Angie!

So…when is this baby going to start production?!

Chloë Moretz and Hailee Steinfeld have a lot in common: they're both 14 and love Miu Miu!

The up and comer showed her love for Prada's younger label at the Northern Ballet's Cleopatra press night in London last night wearing a peach ruffled top and matching skirt with cute age appropriate heels.

We have a feeling this Chloë's going to be one to watch on the red carpet.

It looks like the possibility that David Fincher will be directing Cleopatra is getting closer and closer.

While promoting Kung Fu Panda 2 in Cannes, Angelina Jolie confirmed that she's been in talks with the director to work on the upcoming 3D retelling of Cleopatra.

She says:

"Yes, we just don't know. It's all very early. Fincher's been an old friend, so we've always been looking for something to do.

Right now, I'm just producing it. Just want to see it get done."

And she's producing too? Excellent!

David Fincher is a FANTASTIC choice and we can totally get behind that. Come on, Dave, just say yes already!
