Not only did the President touch upon important issues such as poverty, economy, democracy, international relations, healthcare, conflict, climate change, and equal rights, he also emphasized the fact that only through COMMUNAL effort can we begin to address some of the problems involved in the aforementioned topics.

Obama urged Americans to set aside petty, superficial differences to ensure a peaceful future for our children…

AND he is the first president to EVER address gay rights during an inaugural speech!

We are an awe-inspiring country despite prevalent intolerance, greed, and selfishness. Imagine what we could achieve if we appreciated and loved one another as HUMAN BEINGS?!

We've always been particularly fond of Scarlett Johnasson's rich, deep vocal stylingz, but we can honestly say that we don't think we've heard them better utilized than they are for this.

The actress and sometimes-singer recently recorded the original end title song Before My Time for the Sundance award-winning new documentary about climate change, Chasing Ice, which was composed by J. The above Greenpeace video features an aimless, homeless Arctic Polar Bear forced out from her chilly, northern habitat due to money-hungry oil corporations and their effect on climate change.

The bear wanders through London's streets with Radiohead's Everything In Its Right Place ominously playing in the background.

Thom Yorke recently addressed the issue of our climate's precarious future, stating:

"We have to stop the oil giants pushing into the Arctic. An oil spill in the Arctic would devastate this region of breathtaking beauty, while burning that oil will only add to the biggest problem we all face, climate change."

So, so true. It's redicuouls to imagine how much money is being poured into an ultimately devastating source of energy, when it could be used to discover new, renewable ways to provide safe, clean energy for our already sick planet…

Not quite…but these dino farts are deadly!!

Sauropods, or large plant eating dinosaurs like the Brachiosaurus and the Brontosaurus (now called Apatosaurus), are now the latest excuse explanation of climate change.

Researchers speculate that these dinos could produce 520 MILLION tons of methane.

With all that methane, the core temperature of prehistoric Earth could have been ridick!

As a reference, that's close to all methane produced from natural AND man-made sources.

Grodie!!!

The researchers, from Liverpool John Moores University, warn that their estimates are based on many assumptions.

Still, can you imagine standing behind…or within a football field…of that flatulence?
