In a recent interview with the U.K magazine Company, Xtina steps away from talking about her horrid music to discuss her body image and the image of women everywhere. In the midst of that, she let this fun little tidbit slip:
"I feel sexuality to be very empowering. I think men love to believe that they own our sexuality, so if a woman represents herself in a sexual way, people think, 'Oh it must be for a man.' But men don't have the right to own our sexuality. If I want to be sexual, it's for my own appreciation and enjoyment! That's why I like to talk about the fact that sometimes I am attracted to women. I appreciate their femininity and beauty."
We're sure there are loads of ladies who are happy to hear you say that!
How very progressively lezzie feminist of you! But don't call her that (or the other thing) because Xtina isn't into labels. She's her own person. An individual. No labels.
So what else would you like share with us, Clonetina?
So many Xtina haters. How to reach out to all of them…
Girl found a way!
No one seems too interested in Christina's new single, new album or "new" look. In fact, we think we are all in agreement that Floptina just needs to give up now.
But the girl is a fighter, as one of her earlier BETTER songs suggested, so she decided to tell the world exactly how she felt, with her shirt.
As she was leaving an after-party for the MTV Movie Awards last night, Clonetina was sporting a nifty tank top with the following message: "If You Don't Like It, Fuck You." (That's a lyric from Not Myself Tonight.)
As you know, we don't like it, but rather proceed with your suggestion, we're just going to continue to remind you how much you SUCK!
First step to recovery is admitting you are a copycat.
Good for you, girl!
Christina Aguilera, having spent the better part of the last two weeks denying that her video looks very familiar, finally admitted that she was copying at least one other pop music icon - Madonna.
In a "tribute" to the Material Girl, Clonetina makes several deliberate references to Madonna in her Not Myself Tonight video.
She has finally confessed:
"One of my favorite videos ever is 'Express Yourself' by Madonna which came across as really strong and empowering which I always try to incorporate through my expression of sexuality. I love the direct reference I made to Madonna with the eye glass moment and the smoke and stairs. I was paying tribute to a very strong woman who has paved the way before."
We love it too. We'd love it more that you are finally owning up to the fact that you stole from other artists!
Now, were you also trying to pay tribute to those who paved the way after you? Sure looks like it to us!
While Floptina Aguilera's new album, Bionic, is gaining more and more bad buzz every day and her single, Not Myself Tonight, continues to slip down the charts, she's lamely attempting to keep herself relevant - this time by taking yet even more digs at the reigning Princess of Pop, Lady GaGa!
She's certainly not taking too kindly to all of those pesky Lady GaGa comparisons!
Clonetina is once again speaking out against the negative press she's been getting over her comeback album, hit single, and music video's striking similarities to a certain popstar's work that many have picked up on, and says:
“I’m in it for the long haul, and a decade later in my career, I have nothing to prove. To anyone who wants to be negative, it’s like, ‘I’m obviously relevant enough to you for you to care and to talk and to evoke negative feelings inside of you.’ At this point in my career, I’m over any and all weird comparisons or negativity.”
Kanye West never disappoints when it comes to special occasions.
On Friday, Mr. West gave wifeKim Kardashian Westan AMAZING birthday shoutout by compiling home movies spanning across her childhood. The sweet message features many never before seen moments from Kim's life, which comes as a nice treat for fans considering West has been radio silent since her terrifying ordeal in Paris.
While the rapper's note to the reality star was simple, his video montage was incredibly poignant and heartfelt. Not only does the clip highlight the beauty's deep family roots, but it also places emphasis on Kimmy's strong bond with her late father Robert Kardashian.
Well, you have to admit Yeezy slays when it comes to lavishing his wife with affection!
