After six weeks in bed, Barbara Walters once again took her co-hosting seat on The View earlier this morning!

The acclaimed broadcast journalist was forced to take a leave of absence from the talk show after fainting and hitting her head on the marble floor at President Barack Obama's inauguration in January and later suffering from a bout of chicken pox from a celebrity "who shall remain nameless."

But no worries! She says even though people around her are treating her delicately, she is ALL good.

We'd be great too if we got flowers and get well cards from people like the president, Michelle Obama, Nancy Reagan, and the Queen of Jordan!! LOLz!

Guess we now know what the hold up with the casting announcement was!

Remember when we reported a few weeks back that Khloé Kardashian's negotiations to become the co-host of X Factor had hit a snag, as Fox and the E! network, on which she already appears, couldn't resolve how to share her star power?!

Well, obviously whatever issues they had have been resolved now that the reality starlet has been confirmed alongside Mario Lopez, but according to sources close to the situation, her deal with THISCLOSE to falling through…until Kris Jenner intervened and saved the day!

According to sources, the actor - who recently co-hosted the Teen Choice Awards with new series judge Demi Lovato - would be able to theoretically take the gig AND fulfill his requirements to the Glee shooting schedule, too!

Yesterday, Ann Curry made her tearful goodbye from the morning show and just one day later, Savannah Guthrie filled her chair!!

Way to not address the ginormous elephant in the room, LOLz!

Seems we might not even get a formal announcement of Savannah's new role DURING the show, either — both Matt Lauer AND Al Roker are oh so conveniently going on vacay next week for the Fourth!

NBC is planning on putting out a press release announcing Savannah's promotion later today!!

On the other hand, we're sure Matt Lauer's wife is glad his new co-host isn't Natalie Morales!
