Well, this certainly adds more legitimacy to the exciting reports that Nicki Minaj has joined the judges panel of American Idol!

While the rapper has yet to publicly confirm her role on the reality competition, sources close to production have revealed that it has not been an easy process working out the contract…but it's not her fault!

Instead, it's because of her recent endorsement deal with Pepsi, as Idol is sponsored by Coca Cola!

However, a similar situation arose with

We're always down with some green ideas!

Will.i.am and Coca-Cola recently teamed up to launch a range of eco-friendly attire and accessories in hopes to increase recycling.

How cool!

Given the name, Ekocycle, the line will feature gear and accessories made from recycled materials, and a series of headphones with Beats by Dre, which is also expected to launch this fall.

But that's not it!

The brand is also collaborating with New Era for a collection of eco-friendly hats that are due to drop in 2013.

Being environmentally-conscious has never had so much swag!

The Olympics will have a STRICT dress code this year, so if you're heading overseas to the games, try not to break the rules!

Apparently, any article of clothing that reads Obama or Pepsi could get you turned away from the Olympic games.

Say whaaaaat?!?

Adidas and Coca-Cola have forked over a whole lot paper to sponsor the London Summer Games, so the London Organizing Committee of the Olympic Games wants all competitive attire out-of-sight and out-of-mind.

The group also put bans on

Coca-Cola is going to test out a new market… the mid-calorie soda market.

Mid-calorie sodas are soft drinks that have half the calories of regular soda. They use a mix of real sugar and artificial sweeteners.

This is probably coming after Pepsi launched

Coca-Cola Modifies Formula To Avoid Cancer Warning Label

Coca Cola

Although the soda company discredits any scientific research that led California lawmakers to consider a coloring substance called 4-MEI a carcinogen, Coca-Cola has decided to reformulate their product to avoid slapping a cancer warning label on it.

In 2011, the Center for Science in the Public Interest found the levels of 4-MEI in most 12-ounce servings of soda exceeded the 29 microgram limit that Cali recommended.

Despite releasing a statement that insists, "The 4-MEI levels in our products pose no health or safety risks," Coca-Cola is modifying its manufacturing process to comply with pressure from the government and consumer watchdog groups.

We don't know why Coke is being so bitter about this.

If there is even a slight CHANCE that a product (which is believed to be completely harmless, with the exception of too much sugar) may cause a deadly disease, the problem should be addressed. The fact of the matter is customers will feel at ease thanks to the change, so Coca-Cola should stop complaining.

Do U think the company made the right decision by reformulating their beverages to include less of a chemical that has been linked to cancer?

Coke Is Bringing Back The Polar Bears For The Super Bowl!

coke-bear-polar-ad.jpg

Coke is really bringing their advertising game into the future.

Not only are they bringing back those cute polar bears as their spokes'bears' (yay!) they are going to have a social media live cast of the bears appearing to watch the game on their website CokePolarBowl.com.

A family of polar bears will be watching the game as it happens and reacting to everything from touchdowns, to bad calls, to too sexy for the cubs lingerie commercials.

The bears have hundreds of reactions and will be live "puppeted" by Coke people, who will also be live Tweeting during the game on behalf of the bears.

A spokes'human' said:

"The trick is to be everywhere consumers are."

Which is not only on the TV but also on the internet where it's estimated (by us, and wrongly) that everyone will be watching the Super Bowl.

Unless of course they're watching the Puppy Bowl!

Regardless we can't wait to see the Coke polar bears back in action!
