Sallie Mae does not play!

Last week, Paul Aker (pictured above) — a resident of Houston, TX — was sitting at home when the most unexpected thing happened…

SEVEN armed U.S. marshals showed up to his front door and arrested him!

It turns out Aker had an outstanding student loan debt of $1500 that he hadn't payed since 1987. After taking him to jail, authorities took him to federal court and made him sign a payment plan.

He said:

"It was totally mind-boggling."

However, Paul isn't the only person who still needs to cough up dough. In America, over 40 million people have student loans, and in Texas, students owed over $75 billion as of 2014.

This isn't the first time someone has been arrested for such a deed. In 2003, several people in Minnesota were booked as part of "Operation Anaconda Squeeze."

These Sisters Say Steve Harvey Promised To Pay For Their College Educations — But They Haven't Seen A Cent!

Hear their side of the story!

Survey says, awkward!

In December of 2009, Steve Harvey met Alexis and Marcia Carter at a Kickoff to Rebuild even in Florida. The two sisters, who were 12 and 14 years old at the time, approached the Family Feud host for a photograph.

But what they got, they claim, was a promise to have their college tuitions paid for by the talk show host! The only requirement was that the young girls had to complete high school, and not get pregnant before graduating.

In fact, the comedian apparently opened up in an interview a few months later about the experience, saying:

"I saw these two girls and they wanted a picture. I do mentoring for boys, but girls need guidance, too. A lot of girls who don't have fathers in their [lives] have trouble understanding what real manhood is. Some girls get tricked by boys who have nothing to offer them. I just want to see these kids achieve. When God tells you to do something, you have to do it. My sons are going to Morehouse this fall and if I can help somebody else get there, I will. These girls can come back after college and help rebuild the community. It's not that big of a deal. I can start saving for their education by cutting back on a few suits."

Marica also remembered the meaningful moment, explaining:

"It was cool. We walked up to him just for a picture. He was like, 'I want to do something for you guys.' For us, he's going to pay our whole tuition through college no matter what college we wanted to go to. The only agreement was that we had to graduate high school, and we couldn't get pregnant."

But now that the siblings are older, and pursuing higher educations, they claim the celeb has failed to uphold his end of the bargain.

Marcia, who's 20 years old now, initially attended Barry University after receiving her high school diploma. However, she was forced to switch to the College of Business and Technology because of the school's expenses.

Similarly, younger sister Alexis had her sights set on Florida Memorial University, but is now enrolling in Miami-Dade College since FMU is too pricey.

The 18-year-old explained she never heard from the TV personality:

"When I finally did graduate, still nothing, and when it came time for me to go to college, I had to go to Dade because Florida Memorial University was kinda too much money."

The two have reached out to Steve on Facebook, Twitter, and other platforms, but say they haven't been able to get a hold of him. Alexis admits she feels let down, adding:

"I'm not angry with him. Just a little disappointed that it didn't really happen."

Now, the sisters are opening up to local news outlets, hoping to get a response from the star. Ch-ch-check out their story (below)!
