comics attend greg giraldos wake and set up fund for his sons

Nice to see the comedy community coming together to pay their respects.

Many famous comedians showed up for Greg Giraldo's wake in the Hamptons, including Jon Stewart, Chris Rock, Sarah Silverman, Jeff Ross, Bobby Kelly, Jim Norton, and Colin Quinn.

For an event filled with some of the funniest people in the world, Giraldo's wake was described as "very sad and emotional."

A group of Giraldo's comedian friends have set up a fund to support and educate his three young sons, which we think is a wonderful gesture!

R.I.P Greg Giraldo. You leave behind many caring friends, family members, and fans.

Puppeteer Tops Highest Paid Comedians List

Really?? REALLY???

Making $22.5 million last year, puppeteer Jeff Dunham is the number one top-earning comedian for 2009-2010, according to Forbes.

Even though his Comedy Central series tanked last year, Dunham makes a majority of his money from touring, DVD and puppet sales.

Puppet sales?? Do people really purchase replicas of his puppets??

What makes this list even worse is that Dane Cook comes in number two with an estimated $21 million for his Isolated Incident Global Thermo Comedy Tour.

America's Got Talent season two winner, puppeteer Terry Fator, otherwise known as the "human jukebox," is the third highest paid comedian, earning $20 million a year during his five-year residency at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.

Chelsea Handler and George Lopez round out the top five.

So where are funny men Jerry Seinfeld and Conan O'Brien??

According a source, top-earning comedians have to count stand-up as their primary income. Unlike the others on the list, Seinfeld and O'Brien make a majority of their money from TV.

Live Nation Comedy President Geof Wills says, "To stay on top in this economy, you've got to work a lot harder. The ones who get hurt are the comedians who don't realize that they have to adapt the environment they're currently in."

Sooo, with two puppeteers in the top 3, we're guessing that America really loves puppets??

Hmm, inneresting.

Jason Sudeikis Jokes About Relationship With Maniston

It’s tough to get a straight answer out of comedians, and Jason Sudeikis is no different.

He kidded about his relationship with Maniston and what went wrong in a recent interview.

"I don't know, I don't know. Bad manners maybe? You know the worst part? Even joking about it gets taken out of context. It's such a weird thing to even speak about. I make what I think is clearly a joke and then some people…I don't know, it's hard. I guess it just proves that not everybody has the same sense of humor as I do. I try not to be too worried about it."

Sudeikis is currently dating Mad Men’s January Jones, and made some quips about her as well.

"I completely pay attention when I'm sleeping with someone. It's one of the things I'm known for. I'm always super focused on it — knowing their name, knowing if something's working. You will never hear otherwise."

Both Sudeikis and Aniston recently wrapped shooting on Horrible Bosses, a film about a sexually aggressive boss (Aniston) who blackmails a coworker (Charlie Day) into sleeping with her.

Rumors are circulating that Maniston has a nude scene in the film, but Sudeikis spills none of the goods about the film.

"I know who everybody's hoping it is. All I can tell you is that I won't be naked. It's in my nudity riders. I'm only allowed to show the middle of my dick."

Stallone Contemplates Rambo Rocky Expendables Sequel

If Sylvester Stallone makes an Expendables sequel, will Van Damme and Seagal snub him again?

The Expendables opens this weekend, and if it performs well at the Box Office, Stallone has thoughts on a sequel:

"If this does perform, I think it will open a little more liquidity in funding the sequel. I have an idea ready to go. People think doing a sequel is easy, but it's not because you need the element of surprise. I'm going to try to do something that's quite radical."

We’re curious what his radical element of surprise would be in this sequel. In the first movie, the hook is an all-action movie star cast. Perhaps in the sequel, he’ll assemble a team of mercenaries, all of whom will be played by comedians.

Would U like to see Bill Murray, Robin Williams, Dane Cook, Tim Allen, and Bill Cosby fight bad guys?

And yes, we understand that the Cos hasn’t been in a movie in years, but if they could get Schwarzenegger out of retirement…

Oh No! Poor Jennifer Saunders Had Cancer!

We had no idea this was going on, but we can't tell you what a relief it is to hear that she's okay.

Jennifer Saunders, of the amazing AbFab, reportedly has fought and won a battle with breast cancer.

Nine months ago, the Brit comedienne found a lump in her breast and started an aggressive treatment of chemotherapy. As a result, today she can enjoy being in the all-clear and cancer free. Friends of Jennifer say she is in "high spirits" and is even comfortable showing off her new shorter hairstyle. (Previously, she wore a wig to hide the fact that she was losing her hair.)

We're so happy to hear that she is alright and commend her for being so brave.

Kicking cancer's ass is no small thing. We're proud of you BB!

Kathy Griffin Won't Make Fun Of Sandy!

Everyone's on her side — even the comedians!

Kathy Griffin, who LIVES to make fun of celebs, says she won't be talking smack about Sandra Bullock — even though Sandy said on the MTV Movie Awards, "Go back to making fun of me."

Kathy says:

"I really wouldn't make fun of her. I love when she said that comedians could make fun of her again. I'm going to send her a muffin basket! She seems to have a sense of humor, but if I wanted to, she said I could! I thought she was talking to me through the TV."

We can't think of a bad thing to say about Sandy anyway!

Russell Brand Is Not A Fan Of Katy Perry's Explosive Flatulence!

Filed under: Silly!Love LineKaty PerryRussell Brand

She may think fart jokes are cheap, but her comedian fiancé seems to think that they're HIGHlarious - especially when she's the one guilty of the gas!

Russell Brand recently revealed that his special gal, Miz Katy Perry, happens to be quite fond of farting!

He says:

"That woman is like a flatulence factory. The pop hits that she fires out of her mouth are nothing compared to what comes out the other end of her!"

Suddenly it all makes sense!

Were you cutting some cheese earlier when you wrote that GaGa Tweet, bb??
