Amy Schumer clearly feels 140 characters just isn't enough when it comes to addressing this controversial topic.

On Wednesday, the funny lady wasn't laughing when she criticized previous Inside Amy Schumer contributor Kurt Metzger for the controversial comments he made on Facebook about sexual assault.

ICYMI, Kurt slammed Upright Citizens Brigade's decision to ban comedian Aaron Glaser, after an internal investigation into allegations that he had raped multiple women in the comedy community.

And now, Miz Schumer is speaking to Charlie Rose about the upsetting remarks made by her friend, saying in a new clip posted on Thursday:

"One of the reasons he's such a great writer and such a great contributor to our television show is because his views are so different from that of mine and most of the other writers in the room."

While Mr. Metzger has worked on her Comedy Central series in the past, she explained that he's not currently her writer because there are "no plans for the TV show to come back anytime in the near future."

So, the blonde beauty doesn't want people to associate his social media rants with her own beliefs, adding:

We guess when Amy Schumer woke up Thursday morning, she realized the impact of her words.

After saying offhandedly — as part of a much deeper conversation about a writer's controversy — that they weren't making the Inside Amy Schumer anymore, speculation went rampant about the show being cancelled.

Larry Wilmore Totally Just Blamed Trevor Noah's Daily Show For Getting The Nightly Show Cancelled!

no title

For a network focused on comedy, they sure are welcoming the drama!

As you may have heard, the world of late night TV suffered a sudden loss on Monday when Comedy Central decided to cancel The Nightly Show after just two seasons on the air.

While the news wasn't completely shocking since the Larry Wilmore vehicle is easily the weakest performer in the news satire genre, we were surprised the channel didn't try to save the show somehow before completely giving it the axe.

But we're not alone… Larry himself was just as surprised that the Daily Show spin-off didn't survive to see a Season 3 — and he's blaming the OG series for his own cancellation!

While speaking to Vulture on Tuesday, the comedian admitted that while his ratings weren't necessarily great by any means, that's actually all Trevor Noah's fault, saying:

Comedy Central's Lawyers Won't Let Stephen Colbert Play The Character 'Stephen Colbert' On The Late Show!

The law might have a hold on Stephen Colbert — but it's got nothing on Stephen Colbert!

Last week, The Late Show host dusted off his iconic Comedy Central character from The Colbert Report (who has apparently been living in the woods with Jon Stewart all this time) to talk about Donald Trump and the Republican National Convention.

Though fans were overjoyed to see the Champion of America resurrected, it looks like we'll never see the host of The Colbert Report again.

The real Colbert revealed on Wednesday's The Late Show that Comedy Central's legal team is banning his old character from appearing on CBS! He explained:

Lin-Manuel Miranda Is Bringing Hamilton To Your TV Screens To Teach You A Drunk History Lesson!

no title

Four pours and seven beers ago.

If you would have told us that a story about one of our Founding Fathers getting shot to death would translate into the most popular Broadway musical in ages… we never would have believed you.

But luckily, Lin-Manuel Miranda trusted his instincts and blessed us with Hamilton: An American Musical – and now he's about to do it all again for the small screen!

That's right — Comedy Central announced on Friday that Lin will be helming an upcoming episode of Drunk History this season… and while no one else has been cast just yet, it'd be a national tragedy for them to not use Phillipa Soo, Renée Elise Goldsbery, and Leslie Odom, Jr. to some extent!

Interestingly enough, DH's first-ever televised episode featured Michael Cera as Alexander Hamilton, Jake Johnson as Aaron Burr, and Ashley Johnson as Eliza Schuyler Hamilton, so Lin's going to have his work cut out for him in order to teach us something new.

Although… he's already won a Grammy, a Peabody, and 11 Tonys for his first retelling of the deadly duel — so if anyone's up for the challenge, it's him!

Will U be watching Lin-Manuel Miranda's Drunk History debut when Season Four premieres Tuesday, September 27 on Comedy Central??

Who ever said periods were bad?!

We've already told how much we love Comedy Central's period sitcom Another Period… but we have to say, they may have just aired their best episode ever!

That's because none other than Yours Truly stopped by Natasha Leggero and Riki Lindhome's comedy on Wednesday night, and we could not have had a better time.

Video: Check Out Our Horror Movie Most Likely To Die

Not only was the half-hour downright HIGHlarious, but we even got to get our acting on as a local reporter named Brussells Sheridan from the paper, The Looky-Loo.

It was a bit of a departure from our real life… but we think we pulled it off! LOLz!

Ch-ch-check out our cameo on Another Period (above)!!!

The Daily Show Under Fire For Tasteless Abortion Joke Just Hours After SCOTUS's Historic Vote!

no title

Well this joke was just a terrible idea…

Trevor Noah hasn't exactly been making the most of his time as host on The Daily Show so far, and he may have just found himself in his biggest scandal yet.

That's because some Twitter users are currently upset with the Comedy Central satire series following a tasteless abortion joke just hours after the Supreme Court's historic women's health decision.

For those of you who don't know, SCOTUS voted 5-3 against a sexist law on Monday that essentially prevents the state of Texas from closing women's clinics.

Unfortunately, the late night comedy show was a little too offensive while celebrating the vote, saying:
