Viola Davis Shows Oprah How To Get Away With A Big Role In DC's Suicide Squad!

It looks like Viola Davis is ending her year with a bang as the leader of DC's super villain gang!

The How To Get Away With Murder star has reportedly scored the role of Amanda Waller in Warner Bros' upcoming Suicide Squad movie.

Amanda "The Wall" Waller is a no-nonsense government agent who recruits villains to take on suicide missions — and isn't afraid to get right in Batman's face!

Viola quickly jumped to the front of a small group of high-caliber contenders for the juicy part, including Oprah Winfrey and The Help costar Octavia Spencer.

However, her involvement in the film has not yet been officially announced as Warner Bros must make sure they can shoot around her busy TV schedule.

For those that grew up in the 80s, Michael Keaton was the one and only Batman.

But since then there have been several onscreen versions: Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale

Sony Hack Reveals Plans For Spider-Man To Join The Avengers! Can It Still Happen??

Back in October we heard exciting rumors that Sony and Marvel were in talks to finally let Spider-Man meet The Avengers!

Well, turns out that was more than geek gossip!

The Sony hackers have released details of the secret talks between the two studios in their attempts to merge their superhero movie universes!

In leaked emails, Sony Pictures president Doug Belgrad tells motion picture chief Amy Pascal about a potential deal that would see the webslinger partially return to Marvel!

Under the plan Marvel Studios would produce a brand new trilogy (no more Andrew Garfield??) while Sony would retain "creative control, marketing and distribution" of the films.

Benedict Cumberbatch Can Finally Talk About Being Cast As Marvel's Doctor Strange! See What He Has To Say HERE!

It was so nice after months of rumors and misdirects to finally confirm Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Doctor Strange.

And we're guessing the Sherlock star got to breathe a sigh of relief as well, now that he's finally allowed to speak about it!

And that's just what he did at the British Independent Film Awards.

For the first time since the official announcement, Benedict talked about becoming a Marvel superhero! He said:

"There's a lot of work to be done, and I'm just at the beginning of it all, so I'm not going to talk much about it. But I mean it's a thrilling gig to get, and I just can't wait. I'm very excited."

The Flash Is Bringing Back Star Wars Star Mark Hamill As THIS Classic '90s Villain!

The Flash is running so fast, it's going back in time!

The CW super hit isn't just bringing back '90s Flash star John Wesley Shipp (as new Flash Grant Gustin's father); they're also bringing back the classic's best villain:

Mark freakin' Hamill!

The Star Wars star — who later gave voice to Batman villain Joker in dozens of cartoons and video games — played Flash villain James Jesse, AKA The Trickster, in two episodes of the short-lived CBS show.

His cartoonish performance (below) made him far and away the most memorable guest star. And now he's bringing another tour de force in a brand new incarnation of the character!

How will Mark's Trickster be different this time?
