Chris Evans CONFIRMS He's Done With Jenny Slate AND Playing Captain America!!!

no title

Damn. Chris Evans is saying goodbye to two of the biggest people in his life…

Yes, in a new profile for the theater section of The New York Times, Chris confirmed he and Jenny Slate have split once again.

The star of Avengers: Infinity War (who is playing a villain in a new play called Lobby Hero by Manchester By The Sea writer Kenneth Lonergan) not only broke the hearts of fans of the on-again, off-again couple — he also crushed Marvel Cinematic Universe fans by confirming he's done being Captain America!

After the scheduled reshoots and pickups for the untitled fourth Avengers film, Chris says he will not be returning to the multibillion dollar franchise:

"You want to get off the train before they push you off."

As for what the future holds? He says more theater, more directing, tap dancing (hot!), and… hopefully settling down with a family?

Oof, rough thing to say after a breakup…

Remember how big a crush you had on Harvey Kinkle? The hunky boy next door/straight guy crush material from Sabrina the Teenage Witch?

Well, get ready for a brand new broom to sweep you clean off your feet, little witches, because Netflix has just cast Austin And Ally star Ross Lynch in their reboot!

Played by Nate Richert on the original, Harvey was Sabrina's high school sweetheart and undercover OTP, but don't expect the spooky reboot to necessarily retread the same path.

A press release calls the new Harvey "the son of a coal miner, a dreamboat and a dreamer, completely unaware of the dark forces conspiring to keep him and Sabrina apart," but color us mistrustful of that description. Cuz we're getting some bad boy warlock vibes from the official pic (above) of the Disney Channel alum.

Lynch joins a fantastic cast that includes Kiernan Shipka (Mad Men) as Sabrina, Miranda Otto (Lord Of The Rings) as Aunt Zelda, and Lucy Davis (Wonder Woman) as Aunt Hilda.

Are YOU ready for the magic?

Guardians Of The Galaxy fans were mortified on Tuesday when they got some really sad clarification from director James Gunn.

In a Twitter debate between sci fi fans over whether they would save Baby Groot or an adorable porg from Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the director weighed in that of course you'd save Baby Groot, who is a sentient being.

Black Panther Is All About The Women! Get The Deets In Our Review Roundup!

The reviews are in today, and Black Panther is sounding like another solid Marvel Studios entry to some — and something much more to others.

So what do the range of positive words (at the time of this writing, the film holds a 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with 51 reviews counted) have in common?

First, absolutely glowing reviews for the production design (Hannah Beachler), costumes (Ruth E. Carter), and cinematography (Rachel Morrison).

And the supporting cast, including Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, and villain Michael B. Jordan, are consistently lauded as standouts.

While this is mostly a good thing, especially for women's representation in the world of superhero movies — some feel Chadwick Boseman's stoic lead is in danger of being overshadowed by everyone else…

See what critics had to say (below):
