Congratulations, Todd! Welcome to the gayborhood!!!! There's some wine in the fridge.
During an episode of podcast WTF With Marc Maron, comedian Todd Glass publicly announced he's gay.
Todd said he wanted to come out because he couldn't hide it anymore while so many teens and young adults were committing suicide to get away from the homophobic bullying.
He told Marc:

It's true! David Testo is gay!
The American soccer pro is the first former MLS and professional soccer player to come out of the closet.
David explains how difficult it's been for him holding part of himself back but how the decision to let himself be public is a freeing one (please note the quote is a rough translation from a French report):
I’m gay, I’m gay. I did not choose. It’s just part of who I am. And it has nothing to do with the talent of a soccer player. You can be both an excellent soccer player and being gay.
I really regret not having said publicly earlier. I fought with it all my life, my whole career. Living the life of a professional athlete and being gay is incredibly difficult. It is like wearing a secret…It saps all your energy…in addition to having to perform, having to play.
We're really happy to hear this, David! And we hope you can feel so much better now that you're truly free to just be. And he's absolutely right, his sexuality should have nothing to do with his career as a professional athlete.

After coming out of the closet, Zachary Quinto has garnered a lot of attention for his act of courage.
The actor, who we'll see soon on American Horror Story, made the decision after Jamey Rodemeyer committed suicide. And he's already inspiring others to feel better about their sexuality, including ABC news anchor Dan Kloeffler!
Zachary knew he wanted to do some good with his coming out, but he's blown away by all of the support. In a recent statement, he lovingly says:
