Kevin Hart was crowned top thespian at the 2012 BET Awards!

Starring in Think Like a Man, one of this years more successful romantic comedies, Kevin beat out a pretty stacked deck that included Denzel Washington, Don Cheadle, Idris Elba, and Common.

As the funny man took the podium, he joked that since he was a better actor than Don and Denzel, and far prettier than Idris — he DEFINITELY deserved to win.

LOLz!! We're not sure if that's true, but congrats on your well-earned victory!

Yeezy World Peace Kanye West has been in da studio for what seems like an eternity working on his latest album G.O.O.D. Music however, according to sources, the album is almost done and "pretty close" to DROPPING.

The album will feature collabs with just about errrrbody and their moms from John Legend to Common.

It's been a hot minute since we've heard from Ye' about the album, and he HASN'T GONE IN A TWITTER RANT in almost a month, so hopefully we'll hear some hot shiz leak drop SOON!!!

Drake and Common didn't just get into it backstage at the Grammys.

They got into it twice!

While everyone was being wowed by the fabulousness of The Grammys last night, the two rappers with a history of problems were at each other throats!

Sources say that there was a backstage confrontation between the pair eventually had to be broken up by the police. Once they broke up the first fight, things got heated again and they went at it again!

Stick to trading jabs in your songs, guys, if you have to have beef at all. Violence is NEVER the answer!

A battle has begun between prominent figures in rap music.

In this corner, we have Common, known for his slick rhymes and smooth hooks. Common actually laid down the gaunlet for this battle, throwing shade at his opponent with his song “Sweet” back in November. In it, he rants about how MCs have gone "soft," and sometime, admitted that his comments were directed at Drake and his crew.

In this corner, we have Wheelchair Jimmy Drake, one of the most promising MCs in recent years. He rose to fame quickly once he got with the right crew, so now he has a rep to protect. With that in mind, he laid down a track with French Montana and Rick Ross called Stay Schemin, with more than a few choice lines directed at his Young Money attacker.

Now, the ball is in Common's territory and he is making good use of it. Turning the tables fast and hard, he took the song Drake did with Rick Ross and Co. and remixed it for Drakes (and our) listening pleasure. Check out the video (above) to hear Common's strike back to Drake's dissing rhymes!

Yesterday the reality star, the singer and the beauty queens delivered 2,000 toys to children receiving treatment at the Naomi Berrie Diabetes Center at Columbia University Medical Center.

The event was part of CitySights NY's 2nd Annual "Holiday Joy" Toy Drive. The Center provides both family-oriented patient care and education with diabetes research programs.
