Former NBA star Steve Francis has been accused of sexual assaulting a 20-year-old woman in Texas!
According to the police report filed regarding the complaint, the victim is named Shauna Simien, a singer signed to his record label, and when she went in to meet Steve at his office to discuss her contract in May of 2010, he "groped" her through her clothing by reaching down and grabbing her between her legs!
She then apparently screamed for him to stop, and a few of her friends who were there managed to come in and break things up.
Most appalling of all, however, is that the case is still OPEN and no charges have been filed. Simien is reportedly so frustrated that she's considering pressing charges with the DA's office.
Understandable! It's hard enough for women to come forward in situations like these, let alone having to deal with authorities if nothing is being done right away!
Stay strong, gurl!

The newest castmember on The Real Housewives of New York City, Cindy Barshop, has been slapped with a discrimination complaint because a former employee at one of her Completely Bare spas claimed that she was not only verbally abused by the reality star and her co-workers, but fired because she was African American!
According to Altovise Collier, she relocated from Atlanta to New York for the job after being interviewed over the phone, and once her employers discovered she was black, she was harassed on a regular basis, and would only get half of her $700 weekly salary in cash, so she couldn't lease or rent an apartment!
Furthermore, she goes on to claim that other employees would tell her that she was only hired to "inject some color," and no one would would teach her the proper waxing techniques, which caused her customers to complain. When she addressed the way she was being treated with Barshop, she was let go a week later!
Collier says in a statement:
"They were very impressed with me — until they saw me. I was treated like trash and thrown in the gutter, damn near sleeping in the streets. Everyone treated me badly, like I was in some sort of sorority hazing."
Barshop, on the other hand, asserts that Collier was let go "because of the quality of her work."
Well, if this woman is telling the truth, then whose fault is that?!
We sincerely hope that these claims are false, because if not, gurl is going to have some SERIOUS explaining to do!
Especially if she wants to keep her spot on the reality series! She doesn't come off as particularly pleasant or interesting, as it is!
What do U think?? Is Cindy guilty of discrimination??

So much for that!
It recently came out that a service worker at JFK airport had filed a complaint against Jonathan Rhys Meyers for allegedly verbally and physically abusing her last year, but now, the 'victim' Kathryn Williams is seriously changing her tune!
According to a statement from her lawyer, Elliot Budashewitz:
We have withdrawn her March 7, 2011 Complaint filed against Jonathan Rhys Meyers in the Supreme Court, Queens County. In addition, any interpretation of said Complaint as alleging physical contact made by Mr. Meyers in inaccurate. There is no claim that Mr. Meyers made any physical contact with Ms. Williams or that she sustained any "physical" bodily injury as a result of any physical contact. Any inconvenience caused Mr. Meyers by any misinterpretation of the complaint to the contrary was certainly unintended.
Hmm - we wonder what caused such a dramatic change of tune!
Tisk, tisk! Those are some pretty horrible allegations to falsely make about someone!
But oh, well! It's over with now!
Here's hoping that everyone can just put the matter behind them and move on with their lives.

When it rains it pours!
The latest victim said the tongue lashing occurred at La Perle cafe, where the designer was arrested last week for basically the same thing.
Since his arrest, Galliano has filed a claim of defamation, injury and menace against his original accusers Géraldine Bloch and Philippe Virgiti.
The three parties are scheduled to meet Monday afternoon.

Let's hope this isn't true, MTV! This would NOT be cool!
Writer/producer Christopher Gambale is claiming that MTV stole his idea for Jersey Shore, and he may file a lawsuit against the network.
Gambale says he had submitted a treatment to MTV called Guido: A Reality Series, which he registered with the Writer's Guild of America in 2006.
His treatment included some key Jersey Shore words, such as "guido," "guidette," "nightclubbing," and "Guido fist pump."
The subject from the treatment was described as gym-toned and tanned. BUT did he have heavily-gelled hair?!?!?
Looks like Gambale's attorney sent MTV execs a letter, and they plan on filing a lawsuit one month from Nov 10 if they don't hear a response from the network by then.
One thing Gambale doesn't claim credit for is Snooki.
Here's what he had to say about her:
"Nobody can create that."
We're glad to hear you're not taking credit for Snook, Christopher!
As for the origin of the show's concept, we'll be curious to hear how MTV responds to your complaint.
Do U think MTV stole Gambale's idea?

Just add AEG to the list!
He claims that they neglected to provide the recommended equipment for patient monitoring, precision dosing, and resuscitation equipment that may have prevented his death.
His 169-page complaint to the Medical Board of California alleges that AEG engaged in "unlawful practice of corporate medicine" by hiring Dr. Conrad Murray to "wean" Michael off his alleged dependence on pills by medicating him with Propofol while he was preparing for his This Is It tour.
He also goes on to say that that AEG Live neglected in providing the recommended equipment and a nurse to assist Dr. Murray, which could have helped revive Michael after he stopped breathing.
AEG spokesman Michael Roth declined to comment on the complaint, however before the accusations were made, AEG executives stated that they had never signed a contract with Dr. Murray. According to them, Michael had hired him and he was solely responsible for paying Murray.
Does Joe have a point or is this just another ploy to cash in on Michael's death??
