Last minute Christmas shoppers were busy clicking their mouses this past weekend.

For the week ending December 19th, comScore reports sales totaled $5.5 billion, up 17% from the previous weekend.

Dayum!

The numbers are impressive, but not completely surprising. The weekend before Christmas is usually the biggest for online retailers because of their shipping deadlines.
