It never ceases to amaze us how extensively, and with the use of what can be confused to be 'logic,' that people can find ways to justify their bigotry.

Check out this pretty HOriffic clip from The Awakening conference for social conservatives this past weekend, which took place at Liberty University in the ironically-named Lynchburg, VA, during which panelists try to reject the term 'gay' and attempt to hide their deep-rooted, dispecable homaphobia in some nicely-worded, intelligent sounding ring-wing bullshiz that ultimately ends up making no sense (above).

For example, the Young Conservatives of California's Ryan Sorba claims:

"You're not an abstract consciousness inhabiting some impersonal body."

Really? Because what he's describing sounds pretty much like what most Christians would consider a soul! Didn't realize we weren't supposed to have those!

Way to go, buddy!

Perhaps it's about time you try and re-tool your argument to actually make sense, instead of trying to just make it sound as though it's intelligent, and therefore, logical?

Just saying!

Even the King of Twitter isn't safe from hackers!

Ashton Kutcher's Twitter account was hacked on Wednesday while the actor was attending TED, a conference for techies and innovators in technology, entertainment, and design.

In fact, he was most likely punk'd by a TED attendee who was able to get into Ashton's account over an unsecured connection.

The hacker's messages were:

Ashton, you've been Punk'd. This account is not secure. Dude, where's my SSL?

P.S. This is for those young protesters around the world who deserve not to have their Facebook & Twitter accounts hacked like this. #SSL

Yikes! That'll teach ya to use a secure connection at all times!

As of Thursday, Ashton has yet to delete the tweets so who knows, maybe he was even in on it!!

Oprah Winfrey is fast approaching the launch of her network, OWN, on January 1st, and she's already putting some pretty big policies into place - like the ban of the word "bitch" on the cable channel!

While giving a speech at Maria Shriver's Women's Conference, Winfrey revealed that she envisions her programming to be "fun and entertaining without tearing people down and calling them bitches. Imagine that. Imagine," and continues:

"Growing up, I could never find my name on any of those license plates or lunchboxes. Now, I know what it was for — to start my own network. A whole network, a whole channel that we're designing to carry the Oprah Winfrey message. I know that as I start out on this next chapter, there's going to be some mistakes. I know there's going to be some stumbles. I know I'm a work in process and progress. I know nothing new is perfect, but I'm not scared. I'm not afraid."

Wow! Such a powerful statement!

We commend for taking such a strong stance for the empowerment of women!

Congrats, bb! We can't wait to see what kind of content you have in store for us all!

Kathy Griffin and the cast of Glee surprised students at an LGBTQ advocacy and awareness event called "Model of Pride" at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, CA over the weekend.

The best part of the night was when Kathy and Chris Colfer "married" on stage and shared a kiss.

So cute!!

Discovery Channel premiered the wannabe vice presidential candidate's new reality series, Sarah Palin's Alaska, at a sales conference for ad buyers last week, and insiders have revealed that it's an absolute DISASTER!

The source says:

"The whole thing [was] comical. When the promo was over, people (employees and buyers) were rolling their eyes, snickering, and even laughing. People were laughing and it's not even a comedy. No one took it seriously. Bottom line everyone thought it was a new all time low for Discovery. My guess is the show is going to tank big time."

Ouch! Aw gee!

Discovery probably wishes that they didn't dish out $2 million to that hack before the reviews were in!

Everything she touches turns to FAIL! Love it!
