Now someone in Congress is finally trying to make sure all the inflammatory, contradictory, poorly thought-out social media missives are treated with the same official oversight as any other Presidential statements.

To begin officially preserving Trump's tweets as presidential records, Illinois Representative Mike Quigley introduced on Monday The Communications Over Various Feeds Electronically for Engagement Act.

Paul Ryan came up short, you guys.

On Friday, Donald Trump called for a House vote on the health bill, hoping there would be enough Republican support behind the half-baked replacement for Obamacare.

But things didn't go as planned during the floor debate, when House Speaker Ryan realized he didn't have enough congressional backers for his baby, the American Health Care Act.

Instead of crash and burn, Ryan told POTUS to pull the healthcare bill — and while he may have lost the battle, the Speaker made it clear he will not lose the war.

After the dramatic pull out, Ryan spoke to press about the major failure and almost made us feel sorry for him with those sad doe eyes.

On Tuesday, the President gave his first speech to Congress where he outlined his vision for America's future.

In the address, Donnie touched upon several salient issues including public safety, the economy, terrorism, and — his favorite subject — border control aka the wall.

The businessman began his speech by discussing the recent threats on Jewish community centers, and condemned any act of hate and bigotry. He promised to lead the country by promoting values of "unity and strength."

Not surprisingly, Trump's famous slogans — "Make America Great Again" and "Drain The Swamp" — were heavily sprinkled throughout.

The grandson of United States Representative Danny Davis (D-IL) was shot and killed in Chicago on Friday night, apparently the tragic end result of an argument over a pair of gym shoes.

Jovan Wilson, 15, was at home with his uncle and three siblings when two teenagers — reportedly a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl — entered the home and argued with the teenager about the shoes.

At that point, the other boy allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Wilson in the head, according to multiple reports — including those from Davis himself, who spoke to the media after the incident.
