U.S. Congressman Earl Blumenauer sent out a somewhat embarrassing social media post, and NO, it did NOT involve a d*ck pic!

Looks like someone really loves D.C. and we're not talking about the District of Columbia!

Earl allegedly posted, and then immediately deleted, a Facebook post about Dawson's Creek. Apparently, somebody has not forgotten about those emotional teens! How could he?!

government official picks his ears and eats it on live tv c span

Ewwww! This isn't about left and right, it's about right and wrong!

When Representative Joe Garcia of Florida got bored in a meeting of the House Judiciary Committee, he did the unthinkable - he picked the wax out of his ear and ate it!

First we couldn't believe our eyes! Then we weren't sure if we were watching Congress or a kindergarten class!

We haven't been able to reach C-SPAN2's other viewers, but we assume both of them were also totally grossed out!

Watch the entire video of the legislative oversight…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

Saturday Night Live Skewers The Vice Presidential Debate! Watch HERE!

Filed under: TV NewsSilly!PolitikPollsSaturday Night Live

Oh man!

Is it just us, or was Jason Sudeikis reaching 'Sean Connery on Celebrity Jeapordy' levels of HIGHlarity last night?!

The actor appeared as Vice President Joe Biden in Saturday Night Live's opening sketch last night, which skewered the Vice Presidential debate along with Taram Killam as Congressman Paul Ryan, and frankly, it was easily one of the best, most spot-on parodies we've seen from the late night series in quite some time!

Ch-ch-check it out (above)!

Oh, and just wait!

There's even

Watch Kirk Cameron Weigh In On Todd Akin And 'Legitimate Rape'

If you haven't been living under a rock…or a place with no access to the internet, newspapers or television, then you already know all about Rep. Todd Akin's views on "legitimate rape" and abortion.

In case you're just tuning in, the Congressman is currently running for Missouri's Senate seat and went on television to declare that — from what he understands "from doctors" — it's really rare for a woman to get pregnant after being raped.

Ya see, as long as it's "legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

While it sounds like he watched the movie Teeth a few too many times or maybe thinks the female uterus is armed with booby traps that eliminate any trespassing sperm, it turns out he simply "misspoke."

But now, it's someone else's turn to put their two cents in on the issue. Check out the video (above) to watch Kirk Cameron shared with CNN his DEFENSE of the controversial politician.

It's nice to know that Kirk Cameron doesn't believe there is "any kind of okay rape," but a little disappointing that he couldn't take the subject anywhere past his theologically-inspired views on abortion. At least he didn't bash the gays this time!

Missouri Rep. Todd Akin Backpedals After Claiming 'Legitimate Rape' Doesn't Result In Pregnancy

Filed under: Icky Icky PooOops!Media MinutePolitik

Ugh.

Missouri Rep. Todd Akin, who is not a medical doctor nor a woman, went on the Jaco Report on Sunday to give his very inneresting and ridiculous thoughts on rape and pregnancy.

Whilst discussing the controversial topic of abortion on the St. Louis broadcast, Akin claimed:

"First of all, from what I understand from doctors [pregnancy from rape] is really rare. If it's a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down."

First of all, what constitutes as a "legitimate rape?" Secondly, according to statistics from Journal of American Obstetrics and Gynecology, over 30,000 pregnancies result from rape every year and is something that occurs with "significant frequency."

Apparently, Mr. Akin hasn't read any
